I had a very disappointing experience with Seabay Bliss, Varkala. I booked a room and later canceled more than a month in advance, well within the allowed cancellation period. Despite this, the owner refused to refund my advance payment, giving excuses about the room not being rebooked—which is not the customer’s responsibility. After I canceled, the owner stopped answering my calls and messages. Worse, when I tried to follow up politely, he responded with threatening behavior, which is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I strongly advise others to be cautious before booking at Seabay Bliss. They do not honor fair cancellation policies and treat guests poorly.

We had a terrible experience with this homestay. Despite booking through Booking.com, they provided no check-in details or communication until we arrived. To our shock, they had given our room to someone else for a higher price and simply told us to leave. No assistance, no alternative options—just outright dishonesty. If you're considering booking here, be prepared for last-minute cancellations and disappointment. Make sure you have a backup stay because this place cannot be trusted. Definitely not recommended!

We stayed for 2 days and have a decent stay with friendly staff. Place is very much near to cliff and has limited two wheeler parking facility. They allowed us early check in at extra price and no four wheeler parking facility. Overall good budget stay nearby varkala cliff.

Fantastic and decent place to stay. Very close to cliff just 5 mins of walking distance. Affordable and clean. Staff were so kind enough to help us with all our needs. Especially Mr. Vishnu, took a good care of us. Thanks.

Terrible experience! No check-in details were provided, and upon arrival, our room was given to someone else for a higher price. They offered no help—just told us to leave. Extra payment was demanded for a room, parking was at a helipad, and they insisted on passport copies. Completely unreliable—avoid at all costs!

Love the stay ,no complaints at all ,as we were in touch with the owner on a timely basis on the arrival . Cleanliness is top notch .Mr Vishnu is a very loyal and honest person who is a to go person for any queries .Its near to the cliff,As we were relying on two wheeler no issues faced ,Thank you Ijas and Vishnu for making our stay comfortable .This stay deserves a 5 Star .

All re good. Only thing… don’t take bike from next hotel golden stay…that’s totally useless bikes. Even it’s a couple hundred extra take from good place. That golden stay old man is a big cheater. He gave a faulty bike to us and cheated kl 16ab 8206 TVs Jupiter red with lock issues and petrol tank issues . It spoiled our mood for one day
