We booked 3 rooms for 12 members. The owner uncle was very kind and polite, with a supportive attitude. The rooms were perfect, and there's nothing negative to say. Highly Recommended 🙏🏻

Getting here was the best thing that could happen to us. Amazing proximity to the north cliff and good cafes/restaurants, super nice hosts, very large and clean room, cute little balconies. They did above and beyond for us. Helped us with delivering laundry and booking train tickets. Everything with a beautiful big smile. Highly recommended! ❤️

We stayed at red palm for 5 nights. Rooms are clean and comfortable. They have cute small balconies where you can chill. We used the kitchen every day to cook which was very convenient. The owners are such lovely people. Easy to be around and welcoming. They offered us their food every day and were always happy to answer our questions. We could watch them cook and they explained to us how they cook different foods. Really really good and kind people. If your looking for a budget stay that is also clean and comfortable, do go for it.

Lovely people! We felt like home from the first day. The rooms are extra clean and quite big. Toilets are in great condition! Plus there is kitchen you can use to cook. We didn't think we will get such a good place for this price! Thank you for having us!

I spent 24 nights at this attractive spacious house, near the clifftop path in Varkala. My room was large and bright, with wet-room, balcony and fan, the best bit being that the balcony had a hammock, in which i could relax with a lovely view of palm trees, birds and squirrels. The room rate was incredibly reasonable, which made it even better. The owner, who is English, leaves the running of the place to two young men, Ansari and Haris, who couldn't have been nicer or friendlier, so I felt really at home. Guests can use the kitchen, though I didn't as I prefer eating out at the brilliant local restaurants. There is also a garden with hammocks, and a flat roof where you can hang your washing, or just sit out. What I specially liked that was that my room remained locked and nobody came in, unless I asked for some cleaning to be done, which wasn't often necessary - though fusspots might have wanted more! The room contained a chair, a table with undershelf, and a big clothes rack, with bars and hooks all over it so I could hang up all my clothes, and they kept aired, which was ideal for damp swimwear etc. Downstairs was a big hall with a dining table behind, where you could sit for a chat with other guests, and the front porch had reclining chairs where people could hang out together. Most of the other guests were backpackers who came and went, but it's a perfect place for a long stay too, as it is so close to the beach and cliffs with all their shops and restaurants. The only drawback was a lot of noise from the homestay next door, which did keep me awake some nights, but only because my room was on that side of the house. I'm sure the other rooms would be less noisy. Altogether I loved my stay at Redpalm, and will probably stay again next year.

Clean rooms and bathroom.Both AC and Non AC rooms available. Nice property and it is close to the beach. Owner is nice and helpful. Easy going people with no interference. If you want to cook you can use their kitchen. I recommend this stay if you are a budget traveller.
