Cliff County Varkala

We had a very bad experience. There was a terrible smell in the room, and they justified it by saying the paint had just been done. It was very difficult to endure that condition. The bathroom didn't have a lock and was in a broken state. The way the reception staff spoke was filled with arrogance. The surroundings of the room were not clean at all. The size and amenities of the room were reasonable for the price paid. The only good thing about this stay is that it is close to the cliff.

We had a great stay here, beach is just a short walk from the stay. The location is perfect for enjoying the stunning coastline and nearby attractions. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Our host, Arun, was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He assisted us with transportation and provided valuable insights about local places to visit. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and convenient stay in Varkala!

The homestay is situated near cliff ( walkable distance )offers calm atmosphere. The accommodations were cozy and well-maintained, adding to the overall charm of the experience. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with great hospitality and spectacular scenery, is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

We had a pleasant stay at Cliff homestay.Rooms were neat and tidy. Receptionist Arun was very helpful and guided us with the new spots and bookings since this was our first visit to Varkala. Thanks Cliff county for the wonderful stay.

Great location, very close to the cliffside restaurants and shopping hub. The rooms were neat and clean, providing a comfortable budget stay. We stayed in a ground-floor room for two, which was convenient. However, the service could use some improvement. Disappointing Stay: I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Cliff County Varkala, and it pains me to say that it fell far short of expectations. The images presented online were a far cry from the reality I encountered upon arrival. Upon entering the room, I was immediately struck by the dampened walls, which not only looked unsightly but also emitted a musty odor that persisted throughout my stay. The bathroom, touted as a clean and modern amenity, was anything but. Not only was it visibly dirty, but to my dismay, the bathroom door lacked a lock, compromising any sense of privacy and security. While the bed was somewhat comfortable, it was overshadowed by the litany of cleanliness issues plaguing the property. Plates and glasses provided in the room were clearly not properly washed, raising serious concerns about hygiene standards. Adding insult to injury, the service at this hotel was abysmal. Requests for assistance or even basic amenities were met with indifference or outright neglect from the staff. It became evident that guest satisfaction was not a priority for the management. In conclusion, I strongly advise against booking a stay at Cliff County based on the misleading portrayal of the property in the provided images and the myriad of hygiene and service issues I encountered during my time there. It's a regrettable reminder that appearances can be deceiving, and in this case, they certainly were. Save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere for accommodations.
