Shalla Heritage Home Stok

The best place you can find! The whole place is amazing, located in Stok which is a nice village close to Leh. The view is amazing!! The owner Thinles is the most helpful guy you will ever meet! Breakfast, lunch dinner is included in the price. Tikka who is working in the guesthouse very helpful and kind too! And an amazing cook! Mostly he is cooking the meals and I never ever eaten a single bad dish there!! If you want to stay in an amazing place choose the Shalla Heritage Home in Stok!

I had an amazing stay at shalla heritage home ! I stayed there for 1 week ,The property is beautiful, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The owner was very nice and welcoming. The location is perfect, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The service was excellent, and the food was great. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful stay. Keep up the great work!

I stayed couple of days in this stunning traditional Ladakhi building, incorporating modern comforts, while acclimatizing to the altitude. The architecture showcases the region's distinctive style with thick stone walls and intricate woodwork. Stok village itself is a living museum, and staying here provides incredible insight into Ladakhi heritage. This homestay offers an authentic cultural experience. The hosts prepared traditional Ladakhi cuisine using fresh organic ingredients from their own garden and orchard. I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and loved going for a walk in the picturesque village with impressive views over de valley and mountain range.

We were having a great stay at Shalla Heritage Stok. The guest house ist very beautiful, clean and situated in a nice and green area. Everybody was very friendly and helpful and made us feel like home. Highly recommended.

This place is amazing 😀 I were there with a group of 8 people. The food, the staff, the big rooms, comfy beds are really high standard. I feel like a king in a palace !!! Thanks for the owner, who made our stay exceptional, The staff was super humble 🙏 Do not missed the beautiful day walk up to the mountain 🩵
