Aamantran at Fort Maheshwar

Lovely boutique hotel. Very clean and tidy. Whenever we travel to any place in India, location and cleanliness are the most important factors. We were not disappointed. A few minutes walk from the fort and river Narmada, the hotel is located very central. Tea and coffee facilities were available in the room. View from balcony was beautiful. Very friendly owner who helped us to make the most of our visit. Attended the most memorable Aarti on his recommendation. Will highly recommend this place. Thank you Aamantran. Love from London

A home converted to hotel. Has great character and charm. Excellent location, right next to the Maheshwar palace and main gate. Only downside is that you have to climb the stairs, no lift, and small bathroom. The hotel staff/owners treat you like family and provide whatever help you need. Clean place. Hotel Uses a lot of good quality wooden furniture , even wooden bannisters for the stairs. The lounge area in the first floor is very charming and relaxing. The place is worth the rent that you pay.

We recently stayed in this Hotel. Sparkling clean and super hospitality. We had a last moment booking so missed the room with a view. The host is an wonderful person, super knowledgeable with keen attention to every details. Wish to visit Maheshwar again :).

The convenience of exploring the town's rich history and culture was unparalleled. Upon entering the hotel, I was impressed by its spotless cleanliness and crisp, comfortable linen. The attention to detail in maintaining the hotel's neatness was evident throughout my stay. While dining options within the fort area are limited, the nearby Labooz restaurant (just 30 meters from the hotel) was a delightful surprise. Their menu offered a range of delicious options, and I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast there. What truly made my stay special was the warm hospitality of the hotel owner. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and organized a visit to a local handloom unit, where I witnessed the art of weaving the famous Maheshwar Sarees. I even had the opportunity to purchase some of these exquisite textiles. Overall, Hotel Aamantran is an ideal choice for travelers seeking a unique and immersive experience in Maheshwar. Its prime location, cleanliness, and warm hospitality make it a standout among other options in the area. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to this historic town.

Had a very relaxing stay in Amantran. The property is inside the fort which makes it accessible (2-3 mins) to all the place which you need to visit in Maheshwar. The host was very supportive and helped getting food for my kid as well.the room was amazingly clean and hygienic and better than most of the good hotels you would stay. Parking may seem an issue but the staff helps you in getting the same parked.

We had a delightful stay. The hospitality and warmth were excellent. The hosts were extremely knowledgeable and it was a delight to discuss with them the extraordinary history and social development of the area. The rooms were small, but the point of being in Maheshwar is to be out of the room. Hence location was more important than room size.

Stayed 3 nights at Aamantran hotel. Clean rooms, good location. Little congested road. Walk in distance from main ghat & temple. Hotel owner is very helpful, soft spoken and nice person. Staff is also polite and well trained. Onwer is experienced numerologist also.

This is a very clean, well-located hotel, just a block or so from the fort and river. The owners and staff were so helpful and kind, always asking what they could do to make our stay better. The beds were ... well, not soft, but beyond that, we very much enjoyed our stay. And it was so fun to overlook the school yard!
