Collection O 13531 Hotel Sundaram

At first it all seemed to be nice but while unfolding every wrap an issue was found. The rooms are just fine not very clean although nor the beds are very comfortable. No hot water in the bathrooms and lack any sort of shampoo or soap. The AC remote was missing so there was no possibility of changing the temperature at night unless u want to call the room service which serves you water after 2 complete hours of requesting for it thrice there a lot more options available in the city in the same range with better services.

Pathetic hotel. Right from the checkin to hotel cleanliness to room cleanliness everything was filthy. Room was smelling damp and was full of cockroaches and insects. Bedsheets and blankets were too old and with lots of stains. No geyser and we were given Hot Iron Rods which didn't give desired result. Washroom had almost no lighting and tiles were in broken state. No SEALED bottled water was provided even though 2 bottles per room is expected. We paid 2600 for 2 rooms and it was the biggest mistake to have booked this hotel. A STRICT NO for this hotel. Avoid in all circumstances.

The hotel does not have hot water facility hot water comes only in the evening however they have heating rods in case you want hot water. You will have to ask for buckets as well as by default there are no buckets and mugs present in bathroom Television are not good either the signal is not there or the set top boxes are faulty. The channels subscribed are only free channels Room service, cleanliness in the room, the bed sheets are average. we were given one towel and soap for a family room booked for 4 adults. Staff is good to interact and very helpful they will serve you tea even as early as 5 a.m. Hotel has a backup generator which takes care of power outages. Hotel is very near to the railway station and is value for money to stay for short duration.

Hotel Sundaram Ujjain is a great budget-friendly hotel located in the heart of Ujjain. The property is known for its clean and comfortable rooms and excellent hospitality. The staff is friendly and accommodating and always willing to help. The hotel is well-equipped with modern amenities and features. The hotel also serves delicious food at the in-house restaurant. Overall, it is a great place to stay for a budget-friendly experience.

No hot water was available , if u have kids less than 10 year .. plz I request u don't come here plz, we said to clean the room after 2 days they said we will do but when we come at hotel nothing they have done...Again we said they said yes but not done again.. Restaurant which are good they are maximum at 1.5 km no restaurant were near by .... Cost is soo much .... I hate the service... Staff were saying very bad for us😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😫😫😫😡😡 oyo plz remove this hotel plz. This hotel is not for Oyo ... N Never come here ...

My travel to Ujjain had been this time with my family which includes my Sr. Citizen Parents. Experience of service was terrible. Despite that my bookings were made two months in advance, my family who reached at hotel early morning were initially asked to move to the other property located somewhere near to Mahakaleshwar Temple, stating that they have booked complete Hotel Sundaram Palace Hotel property for marriage. Finally they convinced them to move to other property named as Hotel Shivam Palace located near to Hari Phatak whereby we came across a terrible customer service from the Hotel Staff and other people. I personally reached in the afternoon and my train from Delhi to Ujjain was late by 2 hrs so I was bit desperate to get fresh and have my shower. ||When my family agreed after checking out rooms at this hotel, hotel staff and owners convinced them to transfer them with proper hospitality to this hotel and finally when they were getting transferred to this Hotel Shivam, the member of 4 were asked to board 3 seater auto-rickshaw along with luggage. What a hospitality extended from their side when we reached to check-in into this hotel, we were asked to stay back at reception for an hour stating the rooms are getting cleaned. ||Further request for Breakfast serving was requested one month well in advance with some charges since I was travelling with my parents whereby they were diabetic whereby the person who picked up the call stated it would be served complimentary without any charges and we need to worry about the same. When we checked-in at the hotel we were simply refused for the same. Hotel didnt even provided us with bottle's of drinking water stating that they dont serve bottled water inside the room. Also since the booking have been made through Cleartrip, they provide heavy discounts to Cleartrip due to which they are not comfortable in providing with the water.||Taste of Food provided here is worst! We ordered only once and we were not at alll happy with the taste. Location though is quiet near to Mahakaleshwar Temple is bit polluted. ||Thus though the rooms interiors are cool, service from the Hotel would let one down in terms of positive feedback. This feedback is purely based for both the hotels "Sundaram Palace" as well as "Shivam Palace"

It's a great budget hotel and staff was very cooperative.. I went with a kid and staff helped me to boil the milk and water even at midnight. Rooms were good and everything was perfect except stinking bathroom , they changed our room due to bathroom issue.. So it's a must visit ..

No lights in bathroom, no soap shampoo provided, no exhaust fan/geyser in bathroom, stinky smell in bathroom, seepage smell in rooms, bed mattress broken, water leaking from ac, no dustbin in room, no TV service, towel poor quality. No cleaning service provided in rooms during stay.
