First I wanted to inform you all the reviews for this place are fake, possibly written by the hotel’s friends or relatives. This is not a hotel; it is more like a lodge. We arrived at the hotel at 12:30 PM after a long journey from Mumbai to Ujjain. However, there was no one to help us with our luggage. After some discussion with the person available at the reception, he eventually came to take my two bags but left them at the reception instead of carrying them to our room. The staff here is extremely rude. Despite it being late and us being exhausted, they insisted on immediate payment. I requested some time to rest before making the payment, but they refused to cooperate. They were quick to demand documents but offered no help with our luggage. I was shocked when I saw the room. The walls were not made of concrete but of plywood. The washroom was filthy, with used soap left behind, and I had to flush out the mess myself. It was clear that they hadn’t checked or cleaned the room before our check-in. At 1:30 AM, I had to ask the staff to stop the loud noises coming from their room, where they were engaging in some sort of revelry. This place is entirely unsuitable for families. The so-called hotel doesn’t have a proper roof—it’s covered with plaster of Paris, giving it the feel of a chawl. To make matters worse, the electricity went out twice in the morning, and the staff had no idea when it would be restored. It wasn’t a general power outage but an issue with their own system.
