Hotel Chanakya

येथील कर्मचारी दारूच्या नशेत बेधुंद होऊन रात्री जोर जोरात दरवाजा वाजवतात. फॅमिली असतानाही अत्यंत आक्षेपार्ह बरळतात. वाईट अनुभव. येथे राहिल्याचा पश्चात्ताप झाला... I had to travel to another city for an event, and since my travel was scheduled around 1 AM from Ahilyanagar (formerly Ahmednagar), I stayed with my family at Hotel Chanakya for a few hours. Although the amenities were limited, I didn't mind much as it was only a short stay. However, around midnight, a hotel staff member, heavily intoxicated, started banging on our door loudly. When I opened the door, he was in a drunken state, speaking in an extremely inappropriate manner, even suggesting that we accommodate two more people in our room. I sternly confronted him, after which he left, but the experience was deeply disturbing and caused significant mental distress. We couldn't sleep at all after that incident. Additionally, the room was infested with mosquitoes, and despite complaining, the staff made no effort to address the issue. I felt like we wasted our money. Honestly, it would have been better to wait for the travel on the footpath than to stay at this hotel. This was a truly unpleasant experience, and I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Not overly expensive. It is a nice little hotel. Good for budget stay and safe for females. Rooms are spacious and bathrooms also.

The staff was courteous, but service could be more prompt. The rooms were clean but somewhat dated. When it comes to lodging, it's a reasonable option, but don't expect luxury or standout features. If you're looking for a basic stay without high expectations, Chanakya Hotel could meet your needs."

This is one of the worst hotels in Ahmednagar. The fact is that there are very less hotels in Ahmednagar as there is no industry (not even tourism). Hence there are very less number of hotels and most of them are no good. This hotel is one of them and it is not at all maintained properly. The location of this hotel is okay as it is near from Tarakpur bus stand. However, the total spread of Ahmednagar city is very limited to the location doesn't bother much. However, you should have your own vehicle to roam around the city as public transport is worst. ||||Now, about the hotel - it is not clean, not maintained and appears that the staff also doesn't expect much guests during the week. Rooms are cheaper and so is the quality. There was no question of me asking for breakfast or food as other better eating options are available at a reasonable distance.

Quite good stay for 12 days , rooms are good, service is average,no restaurant attached,parking suggest for budgetary stay.
