Diamond Cottage

When I booked this, I thought it as hotel. But it is a homestay. This was my 1st exp in homestay. Room was very good. Host Mr Deepak ji was perfect.We were allotted 2nd floor room with a terrace & with Jhula. It is near Varsoli talav & 1.5 km from Beach, 1km from main road. Breakfast is complementary. Problem I felt was as it is homestay there is NO ROOM SERVICE. You have to do up down thru stairs for your need. Secondly, there is no shop/eatery nearby. You have to drive 1.5km for food, even for tea. This is a disadvantage. Overall, I would prefer a hotel always. Didnt like homestay concept. It did not suit me. I want myself to be pampered when in vacation.

The place was superb and the host is Deepak sir and very friendly. The location is convenient as well being near to both Alibaug beach and Varsoli beach. Room was really neat and well provisioned with all necessary amenities. Would definitely come back here for my next visit.

The room was decent and clean. The owner was really nice and friendly. Breakfast was complimentary—homemade, tasty, and more than enough. He also helped us with local info, which made planning our trip easier. The location was also good, just near Varsoli Beach. Totally worth the price. Overall, a good and comfortable experience. Would definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Diamond Cottage near Varsoli Beach – truly one of the best cottages in the area! The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach, and the balcony views are absolutely lovely, especially during sunrise and sunset. The rooms were very clean and well-maintained, with great attention to hygiene, which made the stay super comfortable. What stood out the most was the hospitality. Deepak Sir, the owner of the cottage, is an incredibly kind and helpful person. Whenever I needed any suggestions or help in exploring Alibaug, he was always available and guided me with a smile. Overall, if you’re planning a trip to Alibaug and want a peaceful, clean, and friendly place to stay close to the beach, Diamond Cottage is highly recommended

Diamond Cottage is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the charm and attention to detail. Mr Deepak Nikose is a helpful person, helped us arrange all the facilities for travelling. The cottage was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly cozy—perfect for a relaxing escape. The host was friendly and thoughtful, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Had a fantastic experience at Diamond Cottage! The place is well-maintained, cozy, and thoughtfully designed—ideal for a quiet, relaxing stay. Diamond cottage is the best place to stay if you're in Alibaug. It is just 2 kms away from the Alibaug Bus stand. Nice location, Beautiful property and Clean Rooms. There is a small beautiful pond near to the place where you can click really nice pictures plus there are good eating places nearby to the property. Varsoli beach is nearest beach. The host Mr. Deepak is a very nice and helpful person. I would definitely recommend staying at this place. Safe and Budget friendly.
