FabHotel Gateway

I recently stayed at this property for three nights. While there are several positive aspects to highlight, my overall experience was significantly impacted by the lack of functioning air conditioning. Unfortunately, this issue was only communicated to me after check-in, rather than being disclosed on the booking site in advance. Given the importance of air conditioning for guest comfort, I believe this information should be made clear prior to booking. The staff were courteous and did make an effort to assist by moving me to another room with a window, which offered some respite. However, the absence of working air conditioning remained a considerable drawback throughout my stay. On a more positive note, the hotel’s cleanliness was excellent, and its location is highly convenient. Breakfast was satisfactory, though the preparation time was longer than expected. In summary, while the property has strengths in cleanliness, location, and staff assistance, the failure to provide or clearly communicate the lack of air conditioning made the stay less comfortable than anticipated.

Friendly and helpful staff. Faire I’d say for the location. They bring the breakfast to the room as they don’t have common areas. The rooms are clean, but a lot of humidity during the night. I was surprised it didn’t smell weird and our stay was comfortable enough. FabHotel has other hotels under their name. I have stayed on another one close to the airport that was horrible. This one was ok for what we paid.

I had a great stay at FabHotel Gateway near the Gateway of India, Mumbai. The cleanliness of the hotel is excellent ✨, and the overall atmosphere is beautiful. The food is very tasty and fresh.😋 One of the best things about this hotel is the staff – they are very cooperative, polite, and helpful.🥰 The service is also very fast and professional. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. I would rate it 10 out of 10!😇🥰

All 5-stars, because if I could, I’d give even more! I truly believe that the experience of a new city becomes even better when your stay is great, and that’s exactly what happened here. From the room to the service everything was amazing. The location is absolutely perfect!! just a 5-minute walk to Colaba Causeway, 2 minutes to The Taj and Gateway of India, and surrounded by great places to eat. I especially loved the view from my window. The room wasn’t huge, but it was just right for me and my mum. It had the right number of cupboards and drawers to store our things, a clean washroom with running water throughout the day, and a working TV where we played some hard rock and 80s Bollywood classics every morning while getting ready. The staff were lovely, super sweet, helpful, and always available. They never said no to anything we asked for, which made us feel really cared for. The only downside was the absence of a lift, and the property being on the second floor of an old building :( but honestly, it wasn’t a big deal. To sum it up, at first glance, my mum and I were a bit skeptical based on the look of the building, but it turned out to be a wonderful stay, especially at such an affordable price!

They served insect in food, when pointed out they started a heated argument. The rooms were premium but could hardly accommodate a bed of 5' x 6'. There was a constant smell after entering the reception area which kept bothering.

The room was just too small with no zero ventilation, leg mats were dirty, bed linen was bad and there were all kinds of synthetic smells - the minimum one can do is good linen, clean mat and at least an air freshener !! And there was no lift to the third floor, so we had to lug the suit cases up all by ourselves

Great Stay at Hotel Gateway I had a wonderful stay. The staff was friendly and professional, and check-in was quick. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. I especially enjoyed the on-site restaurant and the relaxing pool area. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

They have written room size as 110sq/m² it is nowhere near. They have tiny horribly ventilated rooms. We bought pastries and asked then to keep it in the fridge, they ate half of each the pastry and kept it back. It was so clevery eaten and so little was left. Is this the way guests are treated? Lie about rooms and then eat their food
