Chateau Windsor Hotel

few rooms don't have attached washrooms. prefer higher category room if need privacy. very simple breakfast buffet. whole hotel depends on a single lift. location is 5 star with good restaurants and all places of interest in vicinity.

Beds are not very comfortable, the hotel is very clean, I would say very expensive and our toilet was losing water. Their service is very good and they wanted to fix it but as we were only for one night we refused as it was not losing a lot of water...

The toilet was broken outside of our room and I used it without realizing it was broken. There is no sign saying it was. I’m sorry for what I did to that bathroom. I called the front desk and told them, but they did not seem to understand. I give them one additional star out of pity for whoever finds that and has to clean it in a week.

Good hotel for tourists interested in staying near to the Sea. Room was okay for a normal stay. Absence of restaurant for meals was a setback. Breakfast was in house but has very limited choice.

The hotel's location is fantastic considering the nearby railway station and bus stop both are in a walkable distance. The Marine drive is also just a couple of steps away. So in case of location, it's superb. The room and the restroom were both neat and clean. Their in room facilities are lacking with hot kettle and complementary tea or coffee which I feel reasonable to expect given the price. I was travelling with my baby and I had to ask them multiple times for hot water. But it was great that they always provided it immediately.

Literally a worst experience in my life. My points are as under: 1. Bathroom is outside the room. Every time when you use washroom, lock your room. Come on guys, who keeps bathrooms outside of the room. 2. Overpriced 3. Reception staffs are too rude to answer your query. Old people carrying a load of ego burden about this pathetic property. 4. They make sure grilling and construction work starts early morning even on weekends so that you don’t oversleep. I had booked my stay for 3 Days. Unfortunately, I had to leave this place in 2 days. Their ego was badly hurt I asked them to cancel my 3rd day of stay. They were furious to say that they can’t. Trust me, you will not be able to survive here for a couple of hours. Horrible experience.

The hotel was nice, decently clean. It had an elevator, the staff members were nice as well. The beds seemed clean, as well as the rooms. There were complimentary bottles of water the first day, and a fridge (small). Location is prime, as it is in a nice area in the city, close to the beach, tourist attractions, and good restaurants. The bathroom were okay. The only thing I didn’t like that much about it was that we needed to get out of the room to go (however, they were not far and not for other guests, as we had a keys). It was just a bit annoying to get out of the room, especially for showers, but definitely not a major problem). The bathrooms have some deposits to collect the water from the showers, as there are water shortages in Mumbai. Recommended.

The best bit about this hotel is the location; it's just minutes from the station, has some great eateries even closer & is a short walk from some excellent bars with great views. The hotel itself is charming & clean, as was our room. The only downside was that our room was opposite the housekeeping area on the 1st floor, so we were woken early by their phone ringing, which was annoying. That said, I'll willingly stay here again.
