OYO 3191 Hotel Eden Rock

My lovely wife and I spent four nights in this hotel when visiting Bhubaneswar. It's located near the train station on a less than salubrious street. And the hotel itself isn't much better. ||||Having said that, our room was OK and fairly clean. But the bedsheets and towels were in dire need of replacement. So old that they were grey rather white. And literally beyond threadbare. Seriously, they actually had holes in them! And the pillows were so uncomfortable, it was like sleeping on a bag of old socks. Luckily there wasn't much noise from the train station. Or, rather, what noise there was was drowned out by the super noisy air conditioning unit. Oh and the window blind was also super thin. All of which did not add up to the best night's sleep. Moreover, the tiny boiler meant there was very little in the way of hot water. One quick shower and it was running cold. Which, of course, is useless when there are two of you.||||Worst of all, the staff were really rude. Unwelcoming, unfriendly and unhelpful. Totally the opposite of what we have experienced in pretty much every other hotel we have stayed in during nearly four months in India. They really need to spend less time on their phones and more time focusing on customer service.||||And the final insult? They wanted to charge 90 rupees per piece to do some laundry. What a ridiculous price! Everywhere else charges 30 rupees or maybe 50 at most. I'm sure they wouldn't quote this price to an Indian guest. So annoying!|

Overall the stay at this hotel was just great. The room was pretty neat and also I did not find any station noise as many people has complained. The location of this hotel was just next to the railway station. The house keeping staffs were very good and also the room service was very prompt.

recently visited Eden Roc hotel in Bhubaneswar. Good thing is this hotel is very near to Railway Station platform number 6. Nearly 150 meters. Reception staff is good and responding properly. room is ok and clean. all the rooms are with window ACs only. no split ac is there in room. |But Cooling is Ok with the window ac. Everything is good except 2 things.||Restaurant waiters response is not good. |Due to non working heater in the room o had to bath with cold water

Hotel is decent, friends stay is fine but wont recommend for family. Have a bar attached but rates are pretty high, there are few liquor shops very nearby within 5 mins walk. Small tiffen shops are in the same street if you decide to eat outside.

Cozy rooms, well maintained toilets, good toiletry, very courteous staff. The restaurant is good while the service is very slow, Complimentary Break fast - a good spread. Walkable distances to major shopping malls. Poor parking facility

Non professional staff. You have to ask for everything even basic things like Towel soap etc. f you have ordered anything in hotel, you have to wait and wait. Roti may come prior to your Dal. You have to ask for even spoon. Horrible Experience. They will supply one water bottle in room irrespective of single or double occupancy or even extra bed. There is no parking space in front of Hotel or of Hotel.

Returning room after 5 hour found room in such situation. Priviously I like the hotel for its service & stay frequently past 4 years, thuogh no ola uber taxi want to came hare. But recently due to change of stuff & manager, found the service is very bad.

J'ai trouvé cet hôtel super confortable ; tout pour passer un bon séjour : personnel accueillant et souriant toujours plein d'attention à votre égard, une chambre spacieuse et bien équipée. Un restaurant avec de très bons p,t'as bien présentés et personnel aux petits soins. Enfin la gare tout près de l'hôtel à 100m pour vous rendre dans des villes voisines. Un hôtel à recommander sans hésitation.

I found this hotel super comfortable; everything you need to have a good stay: welcoming and smiling staff always attentive to you, a spacious and well-equipped room. A restaurant with very good dishes, well presented and attentive staff. Finally, the train station very close to the hotel, 100m away, allows you to travel to neighboring towns. A hotel to recommend without hesitation.
