OYO 12536 Hotel Annapurna

The best thing about the hotel is value for money. Its quite budget friendly. The sea beach is quite near to the hotel which is one of its main advantage of it's location. But the food was pretty average, try something in simple to eat in the restaurant. The staffs were cordial and polite. Overall I enjoyed my stay in the hotel, keeping in mind its average budget rate. The room is quite clean and tidy.

This hotel/restaurant location is around 4 to 5 km from Jagannath Temple Puri. Situated on the Chakra Tirtha road Puri sea beach. Restaurant booking charges is very satisfactory and affordable price customers with well maintained, neat and clean environment 👌. Ground floor is for restaurant with good and well behaviour staff. First, second floor meant for customers room with both ac and non ac.

The hotel is situated next to garbage disposal space. So their is a constant odour coming from that side into the room. AC is of no use. Bedsheets was also in bad condition and above all, owner will force you to give 5 star rating in front of him. Because of this the rating in oyo app for this hotel is showing excellent. food provided by them is of decent quality. I recommend not to select this hotel unless its the last option left.

We reached the place at around midnight and hence the place was locked. After consulting the Oyo customer care, we jumped the gates to wake up the room boy, who was sleeping inside the reception room. We woke him up and then it took us around one hour to complete the check-in process, which tired us a lot, especially after a long day and with all the luggage. The process could have been much smoother. Next, as we entered one of the rooms and kept a bag in the cupboard there, the cupboard fell off. Luckily, we didn't get hurt. When we called the room boy, he blamed us for the damage. He didn't help move the cupboard or bother about it. We then moved it and kept it in a corner. The next day, while we were still at the hotel (we were staying for two nights), carpenters came to repair the cupboard, which caused as a lot of inconvenience. Though we asked them to do the repairing after our check-out, they were adamant to repair it then and there. While checking out, the guy gave some excuses to access our Oyo app to give their hotel a 5-star rating. We refused, saying that we wanted to give a detailed review. After day one, we had actually extended our booking to day 2. So after day 2 check-out formalities, the manager had done a similar thing, where he asked us to go to the app and give 5-star rating. Of course, I give full rating, if the service is worth it. But, in the case of this hotel, their service needs to be improved. Positives: the location is convenient, near to the beach. Parking space is available. There is a restaurant at the hotel. Needs improvement: check-in formalities need to be made smoother. Customer service needs to be improved a lot. The AC in one of the rooms wasn't working properly. The room boy just said, it will soon work fine and it never happened.

it is a very bad place to stay. the rooms are not very clean and well maintained. the service quality is good. but the locality and the surrounding of the lodge is not pleasureable. The staff members are good enough. But as i am fond of oyo rooms which serves the best quality and standard so i didnt like this place

WARNING: Owner of the hotel force their guests to give 5 star on OYO app. I was willing to give only 2 star for their poor service and behaviour. But somehow they bluffed me, took my phone and gave 5 star rating. The worst part is, location is not near the main Golden beach of Puri as claimed in OYO app. It is 3 KM away and you have to book Auto Rickshaw to reach the main Puri beach. Dirty rooms. Smelly corridors. Not so good staff.

Please do not book this place, till the time you want to smell the drainage for your entire stay. It us located next to a wasteland which stinks even from inside the rooms. The bathrooms were not very clean and even the windows cannot be open for the smell will choke you. The AC remote battaries are not changed by the staff, they will come, beat the remote, till it starts working. I did not try the food here, but the place is not appropriately situated in terms of hygeine

This facility not accepted OYO bookings. They allowed check in after paying amount as per their tariff. TV, telephone is not working. AC is not properly working. No bedlamp and no response from staff to fix it. I don't suggest this hotel at all.
