Hotel Urban Galaxy - Near Golden Temple

At first when I booked the hotel, I was hesitant because it was a 3 star hotel with a 4.2 rating. I stayed there for 3 nights, I found all the staff very helpful & friendly. They guided us to all the tourist locales with proper information. The rooms were clean, the food was good, the view of the Golden Temple from the roof was amazing, the bornfire facility on roof was mind blowing with the cold temperature. The car tour driver Saab Singh was very helpful & took us to all the locales & guided us like a pro, helped us with all the shopping by taking us to the best wholesale markets around the city & on time arrival to the Attari Border even when we were running late. Overall, the team of Urban Galaxy managed by the Manager Vardaan is very good & reliable for all the tourist planning to go to Amritsar. I highly recommend this hotel to all tourists. I had the best experience. I give a 5 star ⭐ rating to this hotel.

I recently stayed at the Urban Galaxy Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The rooms were comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after a busy day. The highlight of my stay, however, was the staff—every member was incredibly attentive and helpful, making me feel genuinely welcomed. Additionally, the food at the hotel was outstanding, offering a delightful range of options that were both delicious and well-presented. Overall, I highly recommend Urban Galaxy Hotel for its excellent accommodations, top-notch service, and superb dining.

Stayed here twice, once in 2019 and recently. It was really good back then. Unfortunately, the hotel has not been maintained well. The toilet bowl is stained, the shower does not work properly, there were cockroaches in the room. However, the staff were really quick to help and very friendly. Hope the owners could do more to clean up the hotel back to how it was before. Location is also pretty good, only about 3-5 minutes walk Harmandir Sahib.

Just vacated hotel and close to hell experience. Do not stay at this one. Lift wasn't working the day i checked in had to climb up and down three floors multiple times. Inconvenient with old parents. Food service takes ages and finally they cancel order. They don't have kitchen of their own. Night mare was when water stopped in entire hotel. Imagine the horror of using the washroom and taking bath and water stops. Worse experience ever.

We was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Vardaan, Rinku, Raj, Reman and Arsish were very caring and helpful. Room were clean, we also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning and dinner. Rinku coffee… must try 😁👍 Location convenient close to major attractions and shopping. Thank you for the hospitality. Highly recommend this business.

USP is it's location from Harmandir Sahib, decent rooms at reasonable rates and good food. Terrace being renovated for better view of the Golden temple. Mr. Vardaan is extremely responsive and a great gentleman to interact with.

Excellent location, management is helpful, absolute rubbish staff. One TP(toilet paper) roll per room, most hotels have several TP already in the hotel room when you arrive. Not to mention, bathroom toilet and floor was dirty on arrival. Kitchen staff are nice. While I was checking out, one worker entered my room without my consent, found one USD on the ground, and just put it in his pocket right in front of me. Then as I was checking out, they called a taxi for me, only for it to be a random rikshaw they found on the street. I paid the hotel for the rikshaw, as they asked. Once me and the rikshaw arrived, the rikshaw asked me for payment, I’m not sure if either the hotel or the rikshaw scammed me, but make sure you do not ask the hotel for any transportation service, do it your self.

Perfect place to stay. The staff and services are perfect. The location is the most favourable, all prime locations are nearby in walking distance. You can also enjoy the beautiful view from the roof.
