The Hotel Exotic is located a few minutes stroll from the historic centre of Amritsar and the Golden Temple. Travellers unaccustomed to India, may find the area near the hotel somewhat unsettling due to the condition of some of the streets and buildings and the general hustle and bustle. However, the hotel is in a quiet 'Gali' [lane], where the entire area and city felt very safe. The hotel itself is functional, clean and welcoming, with great complimentary 4G WiFi. The manager, Lucky Seghal and his team were extremely welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, whether organising Tuk Tuk's, taxis, trips etc. The hotel room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and serviced daily. The A/C was a most welcome relief from the heat of Amritsar. There was also satellite TV with a good range of English options. The bathroom was clean, including a great shower, plenty of hot water, fresh towels daily, and complimentary shampoo/gel. A buffet breakfast of cereals, toast, tea/coffee and traditional Indian food was included. Given the location, price and outstanding service offered by this hotel, I would recommend it without hesitation.

Had a wonderful 2-day stay at Hotel Exotic during our visit to Amritsar. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained with all the modern amenities you'd expect for a comfortable stay. The highlight of our experience was the amazing hospitality—special thanks to Manager Lucky, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. He was extremely helpful and courteous throughout our stay. Honestly, it never felt like we were in a hotel; it felt more like staying with family. The overall service and facilities were top-notch, and the staff made sure every need was taken care of with a smile. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Amritsar. We had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Exotic. The property is well-maintained, rooms are clean and comfortable, and the overall ambiance makes you feel at home. The staff is very polite and attentive, always ensuring that guests have everything they need. The food was fresh and tasty with a good variety to choose from. A special mention for Lucky Bhaiya, who went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable. His warm and helpful nature, along with his prompt service, really stood out and made a big difference in our experience. I recently stayed at the Exotic Amritsar for three nights while visiting the Golden Temple, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the temple, making it easy to visit early in the morning. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff greeted us very nicely Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Specially Ms kiran and Mr Lucky were incredible and went beyond the expectations. The chauffeur Mr Sarabjeet was excellent were we had smooth rides to the historical places. They arranged airport pickup and drop facility which was very helpful for us. Throughout our stay, the cleanliness of the hotel was commendable, and the staff was always ready to assist with any queries or requests. I felt that the price we paid was very reasonable considering the quality of service and amenities provided. Overall, I highly recommend Exotic Amritsar for anyone visiting the Golden Temple. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and hospitality.

Pros: Service, Service, Service! Mr Lucky helped us soooo much! He arranged that all our luggage will be arriving to and from the hotel and Taxi. He coordinated all we needed with a smile and SUPER professional additude. Air condition in the room was perfect! Location is just Perfect- 5 min walk from the temple but not in a crowded street. Cons: Breakfast was weak. There were no hot water in the shower.

It was a great experience overall. The staff and hotel manager were extremely respectful and courteous, assisting us with everything we needed. The room quality was excellent clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The breakfast served was also quite good, making the stay a thoroughly positive one.

Our room was spacious, comfortable, clean and attractive and the hotel is walking distance to the Golden Temple and main streets but what sets this place apart is the friendly and professional staff. Lucky is a great hotel manager who showed us around the neighbourhood, organised everything for us and when I lost something very valuable to me he had it sent across India with a trusted driver in advance of where I was going to be so it would arrive at the right place and right time.
