Ramada by Wyndham Amritsar

I had a fantastic stay at Ramada Amritsar! The hotel’s location is perfect, just a short distance from the Golden Temple (3-5mins walking distance, absolutely safe for tourist), making it ideal for both tourists and business travellers. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, ensuring a smooth check-in and a comfortable experience throughout my stay. I did mentioned prior to travelling in an email about my sister’s birthday and they surprised us with a small cake. It was such a thoughtful gesture The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with all modern amenities. The beds were comfortable, and the housekeeping team did a great job keeping everything spotless. Plus point, they provide heavy duty weighing scale to weigh your bags upon request! The breakfast buffet was good, if you love Indian good then definitely this is going to be your favourite, food is prepared and served hot. Maybe more spread on non indian food/continental should improve, the choices were not that appetising. Thou the service in the restaurant was good, with attentive staff making sure guests had everything they needed. Overall, Ramada Amritsar is a great choice for anyone visiting the city, offering luxury, convenience, and great hospitality at a reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Hats off to chef Shailendra, he curated a beautiful menu for my daughter’s mehndi function. The food was outstanding. It was so delicious all my guests were only enjoying & praising the fantastic food that was served . Thanks so much chef for making the function a hit. The breakfast also was superb. The front desk staff was very courteous & so was the housekeeping. Rooms & bathrooms were very clean & beautiful. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

Well my technique of looking at the bad reviews is one that does not appear to work in India. I booked this hotel as a bit of a risk because of it's great location and hoped that it would not be too bad. Well it turned out to be a good risk. It had comfortable clean rooms, helpful staff and of course a great location walking distance from the main tourist sights. The big surprise was the restaurant which we ate dinner in one night as one of my family is non-veg so we thought it would do. Well it was did better than that we had a very good meal with dishes that actually had very pleasant and different flavours rather than the standard fare. To be recommended.||So a few negatives, the front desk staff were a bit disorganised at checkout but this is India and this is to be expected and it was of no issue and no one was unpleasant. The bathrooms could have been a bit bigger. The view! Well it is in the middle of a dense town and the rooftops are particularly unattractive but I doubt the hotel can do much about that.

Great location, a short walk from the Golden Temple & the Partition Museum. Clean room, good shower, good laundry service & nice food. Great choice for breakfast. Lovely pool area but it rained on our rest days so we didn’t use it! Staff are helpful & friendly, especially in the restaurant.

Very nice place. New property with clean rooms. Very centrally located and walking distance from major tourist attractions. Varied and heavy breakfast. Excellent service. Our room had an awful view of the walls surrounding the hotel but this was easily overcome by drawing the curtains.

Wonderful experience at Ramada hotel amritsar. Food was so delicious. Near to golden temple hotel just walking distance from hotel........ I want appreciate the effort of staff who made all the possibilities to make guest happy. I felt like home thanks all team members of Ramada hotel

This is by far one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in, the beds were comfy and the bathroom was spacious enough. The meals at the restaurant were excellent and being from Trinidad trying their chicken curry with bone was the closest dish to our local curry chicken, it was recommended that we try Amritsari Kulcha and I tried in several places and theirs was the yummiest we had. Some of the staff also spoke excellent english which was great for us cause we did not know a word of Hindi. Also liked the fact that the market, the Golden Temple and other site seeing options were within walking Distance. Stayed on the 3rd Floor and looking down at the Courtyard on the second floor was a thrill for the eyes.

The quirky Italian-Venetian decor hotel is such a great find! Centre of old town, 10 minutes from the Golden Temple by walk, it’s a great place to be. |Rooms are comfortable ( but mine was without any great view ), it ticks box for cleanliness, comfort, breakfast service and hospitable staff.
