Amritara Sadka , Amritsar Golden Temple

Rooms were quite decent enough. Just right whatever we needed. Parking is available and location is easy access to market and Gurudwara. Rooms were very clean and cozy. Amenities were all present. We were well cared by Vasvi at reception.

Stayed here for 2 nights with family. We checked in at midnight and it was a hassel free experience. The receptionists were very considerate and called us twice to ensure we reach without a worry. Room was clean with all necessary amenities in working condition. Staff was very quick and cooperative. Extremely happy with their hospitality, had no issues regarding anything during our stay. Great location, close to the Golden temple, safe locality. Would happily stay here again when I visit next time.

Rooms are very small they don't have space to keep extra bad for 3rd person. Also the room was allotted us there was leakage in sink , exhaust fan was not working,tv remote was not working asked to change but the staff didn't bothered to change. Only food was great. Recommed for other options

Lovely clean room with comfy bed. Staff extremely attentive and friendly. Only difficulty was trying to get the shower warm but other than this a perfect stay!

I reached Amritsar early in the morning around 8:00 AM and arrived at Amrit Tara Sadka by about 9:00 AM. I requested early check-in, which was provided with an extra charge of ₹1500. I was fine with this, I wanted to relax and freshen up. 🍳 Breakfast Experience The breakfast buffet is genuinely good and well worth it. There is a wide variety, including: • Live counters for dosa, puri, paratha • South Indian items like medu vada • North Indian options such as pav bhaji • Omelette counter, sausages • Fruits, salads, cereals etc. The quality of breakfast is good, and it’s a convenient option if you don’t want to go outside for food. The restaurant staff tries their best to serve guests, frequently checking if anything is needed. While they sometimes forget requests (likely due to handling many guests), they are polite, hardworking, and genuinely helpful. 🛎️ Service & Staff • Reception staff was helpful and courteous, especially during early check-in. • They regularly asked if there were any room issues. • I also received a complimentary drop to the Golden temple as mentioned in booking •complimentary Evening tea/coffee with biscuits was provided and appreciated. • Daily cleaning was done properly. 🏨 Room & Amenities • Room amenities like dental kit, shampoo, hand wash, soap, etc., were properly provided. • There is a work desk, which is useful, but I wish there was a proper dining table to eat comfortably. • Heating is done using a separate heater, not centralized heating. This is okay, but in extreme cold, the room can still feel chilly. • Hot water was slow to come, and the sink drainage was very slow while washing the face, which was inconvenient. 🍽️ Room Service (Major Disappointment) Room service was extremely slow and poorly managed. • I ordered biryani around 8:45–9:00 PM, and it arrived 1 hour later • The taste was below expectations and not good at all. • Used plates and trays were left outside rooms for hours, sometimes until the next day, which looks unhygienic and unprofessional. • On one day, after housekeeping cleaned the room, water bottles were not replaced. I had to request them at 9 PM, and they were delivered by 10 PM, which I did not like. This clearly shows a lack of monitoring on the room service floors. 📍 Location & Ambience • Hotel location is excellent, near Hall Gate, with good connectivity. • Reception and sitting area ambience is pleasant and comfortable. • Overall hotel looks good from the outside and common areas. ⭐ Final Rating • Breakfast quality: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) • Staff behavior: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ • Room service: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5 – very slow and poorly managed) • Overall experience: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5)

Our experience as a family of three in Amritara Sadka was underwhelming. We paid a hefty price for a Executive Room to only get dissapointed. First, the location is bad. It is always loud. If you get bothered with traffic noise 24/7, dogs crying and barking at night, please choose a different hotel at a better location. I hardly slept during my 2 nights stay. It was very shady after 8 PM to walk outside. Second, the scam we faced with the room. We booked an executive room and we given a standard room that was too small for three people. We complained at the reception, but they were adamant that it was indeed an executive room. It looked very different than the photos and matched more to the standard room. Thirdly, the room was untidy. There were hair all over the room and if you were barefoot, you’d see the dirt sticking to your feet. I would highly suggest that if you’re looking for a 4-star hotel, there are better options in the same range. The people who worked there were nice but that does not makeup for the underwhelming experience.

Nice place to stay in amritsar. Fantastic food. I stayed in executive room but balcony is too small only 2 people can stand. Better to book lower category rooms without balcony. One more con charging for mattress in executive room also if required that's disappointing. Over all good stay. Suraj and Ranjeet both are awesome in restaurant.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by very warm and friendly staff. Soft, beautiful music played in the background, along with the soothing sound of flowing water, which immediately created a peaceful atmosphere. From the outside, the hotel looks quite dark, which felt a little strange at first. But once you step inside, it’s very pleasant and inviting. We were escorted to our room, which was spacious, neat, and comfortable. One thing I really appreciated was their effort to reduce plastic waste — drinking water was provided in glass bottles. The room also had a lovely tea box along with a kettle. Thoughtful touches like these made the stay feel special. The bathroom was well designed, with the shower nicely separated from the toilet. All essentials were provided: a comb, dental kit, shower cap, and more. There was also a wardrobe with plenty of space for belongings, including a locker. One of my favorite details was by the bed — a notepad and pencil placed right next to it. Such a simple yet thoughtful idea for jotting down thoughts or notes before sleeping. The mattress was very soft and comfortable, making it easy to relax. The hotel was generally very quiet. In the morning, I did wake up to some loud staff conversations outside the room — though, to be fair, it helped me wake up on time! Later we were provided a complimentary drop off to the Golden Temple as well! Overall, it was a great experience. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi, which is always a plus. I would definitely recommend staying here.
