Fairfield by Marriott Amritsar

Excellent and simple hotel ,clean with good amenities. staff very attentive and breakfast buffet good. Price very reasonable and location pretty good from the Golden Temple as well as shopping areas. The dinner buffet was a bit pricy and service could do better .

We booked the hotel based on the location which is excellent. The rooms/suites are nice and spacious and even though the staff is excellent, they need a lot of training to handle the guests. The chef and dining staff are A grade and so is the food. Overall a very pleasant stay. The rooms and bathrooms need a little upgrade.

Very convenient hotel located in central Amritsar. Stayed here for a few nights while I was visiting Amritsar for a friend's wedding. I wish the pool was cleaner so that we could've enjoyed a swim, but that was the solo drawback. The staff were supremely accommodating and made it so that our stay was both restful and easy. Room service options are also great, highly recommend the Dal Makhani.

Overall service & hospitality are excellent. Food(breakfast) service was very good. Nice checkout gesture with photo clicks. Front desk staff & cafe crew staff are well manners & polite There was small housekeeping service issue but front desk manager(Name: Lovely Srivastava) listen concern deeply, calmly & carefully. apply positive approach to fulfill & satisfied my complaint. Manager(Lovely) also wrote apologies letter for inconvenience service & greet my family with complimentary gift. Lovely Srivastava has practical management skills that help to insist to maintain Marriott high standards. She is well deserved appreciation from GM or Manager of Fairfield Marriott of Amritsar. I am really appreciate from Lovely’s effort.

Bad Bad Experience .. The rooms are so tiny here .. Service is so so poor that we had to call like 4 times and wait 30 mins for any kind of task .. After complaining , they did upgraded us to presidential suite ( which was their so called best room ) which i would say is a decent room but the other rooms are just way too small . Also Property condition is way too awful ( Big big turn off ) . Only Saving grace was the food quality and the restaraunt staff behaved very nicely 💯

1. Price promised when booking online did not match the price we were eventually charged. The hotel blamed it on third party booking site agoda and claimed they are aware of this ongoing issue. Yet, they did not make any attempt to inform us in advance via email that the actual price would be higher than booking price. 2. Room service is very poor. First, it was impossible to hear the person on the room service phone call. Second, the menu lists about 7-8 beers, but when we called to order, only one was available. 3. The bathrooms were not cleaned well and have a slight bad smell. Overall not a terrible experience despite these issues. Rooms were comfortable and a lot of the staff were polite and tried to be helpful. I’ve had much better experiences at other Fairfield Marriotts across the world. The quality did not match the price.

Excellent location in the heart of Amritsar. Very close to all amenities and POI. Staff is extremely helpful and happy to assist at all times. Clean and safe place for families. Special mention to the staff at breakfast times and cleaning staff Rohit Singh and Mankirit. I recommend it for families and foreigners.

This was our second time at this hotel. We had a good stay overall however the hotel needs to train the check-in staff better. We are Platinum Bonvoy members and were told that we don't get breakfast included and no room upgrades apply. I enquired the next day and was told that we do get breakfast. I did mention this to the hotel manager so hopefully this won't happen to anyone else. Other than that the hotel staff is very friendly, especially the staff in the restaurant. We will stay here again next time we are in Amritsar.
