Hotel Bombay Residency

this place is not at all as advertised with ripped bed sheets and holes all across the walls. I was extremely disappointed with the difference in advertisement and the hotel in reality. Personally would not give it a 1 star either as basic hygiene seemed inadequate. I would not recommend this to anyone. The location was very isolated and did not feel safe at all.

Though I was at Hotel Bombay for just one night, the stay and staff of the location were extremely polite and caring towards their customers. The hotel was booked because of a friend's wedding that was taking place nearby and we needed the place to stay close to the banquet as the travel there and back would be easier. The staff not only understood our requirement but also kept the hotel gates unlocked till 5:30 in the morning as that was the time we got free. They also were quick to the requests we had and helpful with the AC that was leaking water in our room (the only reason I have deducted a star from their rating).

Attended a program, all items except channe were below the standard, cold snacks, Roti and smelly fruit raita and Gulab jamun, unbranded ice cream were the part of their service. Location and parking is again issue. Hall AC were not functioning properly. Sorry Guys don't know what make it 3 star hotel.

Far from city, difficulty in getting local conveyance, non-veg smell every where, water was draining from AC in the rooms, 3 rooms got changed, 3 star only for this cooperation from hotel staff. Receptionist is very smart he took my mobile and self rated 5 star at OYO. So don't go according to the rating at Oyo If you don't have your conveyance you may face lot of inconvenience and your cost of transportation will go very high. Most of the time cabs are not available in the area.
