It is a beautiful property with a very hospitable staff. From the start till the end of our trip we were looked after very well. Manveer, Tejas and all the F&b chefs, staff were very courtious and loving. Typical Rajasthani folk singers were very talented and made our evenings enjoyable. Thank you all for lovely stay.

Stayed at the Taj Gorbandh for 3 nights from the 23 rd of November. Had an amazing three days at a beautiful property with excellent service . Everything was TAJ standard . A shoutout to all the waiters and waitresses at the restaurant for the great service and food . The chakki ji Sabji and brick oven pizza was yum. Also a special thank you and a big shoutout to Hirok at the front desk for his help throughout right from our reservation to our stay in the hotel . Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jaisalmer .

Absolutely exceptional experience at Taj Gorbandh Palace! Best hotel on our trip so far including other Taj hotels & Hilton. The service was top-notch, with a warm and attentive staff. Felt truly special like a Maharaja. The menu offered a fantastic selection of dishes, and each meal was a delight. Best espresso and macchiato I’ve had—even compared to those in London! The hotel’s design is both beautiful and functional, with spotless cleanliness throughout. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jaisalmer!

TAJ GORBANDH PALACE JAISALMER TRIP REVIEW DEC24|1. We had booked for 4 nights , but with missed flight , we reached next day |2. Thanks to GM Tejas ji , for considering request for waiver for 1 night no show , by giving 50% relief |3. In fact in Jaisalmer 3 nights are sufficient |4. Taj GORBANDH is a small palace of maharaja of Mewar , with good architecture and lavish gardens around |5. We had booked suites , though expensive , but with good amenities with bathtub with jacuzzi in the suite |6. We had booked a cab from a taxi vendor for 4 days as booking through hotel is expensive with GST impact additional |7. First day , we had fabulous tour of the FORT and PATWON ki haveli |8. The fort was barricaded for gst council meeting jaisalmer with embargo on vehicles going to fort|9. Will recommend guide service , we are fortunate to have Vikram Rathod as our guide who managed us to get through shortcuts and auto into the fort|10. We had fabulous view of fort and the city from the rooftop of KD PALACE hotel within the fort and had marvellous view of the sunset witg courtesy of Rathod guide |11. Next day , we had booked for sand dunes jeep and camel ride with night folk dance and dinner , booked through hotel|12. We were told if you do it on your own it’s perhaps half the cost |13. However we had good time with jeep safari and had good dinner at Kanak resort with folk dance and musics for a small group of 10-12 persons |14. The service at the hotel is really exceptional at reception ,housekeeping and restaurant |15. At reception Manvar Abhishek , Ronit Yuvraj greet you always with smile |16. At restaurant Rajani, Pratap , Suvernil are ready at service and chef Vajid|17. We had requested for special dishes which they made it ready at dinner and even during breakfast|18. At checkin you are greeted with Dhol and trumpet rendition with flower garlands , makes you feel special |19. There is everyday puppet show in the evening with high tea which is good for kids |20. There is everyday folk song rendition by local artist near the pool side |21. We were informed that pool has temperature control mechanism on asking for it and takes 1-2 hours to heat up….we didn’t try with cold weather |- [ ] Few suggestions and comments for improvement for management|- [ ] The AC in the suites are really noisy and we had to switch off to have a good sleep with fan |- [ ] The windows are not sound proof to take care of the dhol and trumpet every time someone checks in|- [ ] There is a airbase nearby with fighter jets doing sortie with thundering noise , which can be taken care with good window glssses used by hotels near airports |- [ ] The bathtub mechanism does not work with touch buttons , one has to really fidget to have on or off|- [ ] The bathtub are not senior citizen friendly and requires utmost care and help to get in and out ||OVERALL A GOOD EXPERIENCE OF THE CITY AND THE TAJ HOSPITLITY I. ROYAL STYLE !!

My experience was extremely unpleasant and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.The standard at this restaurant was very poor and the food variety and taste was very mediocre for the price.The service was slow.The server seemed disinterested and inattentive.We were not staying at Taj but at Marriott,Jaisalmer.We had tried both their restaurants and was the same price with lots of variety in their buffet. .not onky variety but the taste of the food was exceptional...thought of giving bazaar at Taj a go but was a bad decision.||In short avoid bazaar atTaj but do try Wyra and their buffet restaurant too.You would get worth the price you pay.

Just loved our stay at Gorbandh palace. Beautiful property. The staff is warm, hospitable, cheerful and so mindful of your needs. Thanks to the staff we had a WOW moment every day of our stay there! Had a truly memorable stay at Gorbandh Palace!!
