Great place to stay in Jaisalmer. It's a centre point to all tourist location. Walking distance from Jaisalmer Fort. Rooms are good. Service is good. And best part is the owners are really good and helpful and very friendly

Review for the safari: So the staff is really super nice and very funny. We had a lot of fun with all of them. Sebastian ist one of the coolest man’s I met in India I met so far. They always help you out with everything. The tour costs 1300 rupees but just includes vegetarian food. If you want meat you have to pay 200 rupees pp extra. And if you wanna have alcoholic drinks it’s 300 extra per beer. If you come back from the tour they serve you a room for the rest of the day to wait until your bus comes. That costs 100 rupees extra. So the roomes are very clean and have a stunning view. Fair prices, but editional costs. All in all I can recommend it. Only thing I didn’t liked to much is how much you get forever to leave a review it’s feels like they are just so nice that you leave a nice review.

Located just within the old city walls just off Gandhi Chowk Hotel Ganesh exceeded my expectations of a backpacker’s hotel (i.e. no wardrobes). It is located just less than a minute away from a bureau de change, some great street food stalls, and an English Wine shop 2 minute's walk. Early morning cups of chai are available in the Chowk from 6.30am. There are 3 good touristy restaurants nearby||||During my first visit, I had booked into a deluxe double which had a balcony and an ensuite bathroom. On my return, I opted for a cheaper single room that had a bathroom but no windows. The room rate was *very* good. ||||The showers work OK. If you are first up you may need to wait 40 minutes for the hot water. If you are in a rush they will supply an element to heat a bucket of water in 5-8 minutes for a bucket shower wash. Next-day laundry delivery is only Rs30 per item.||||The star attraction is the owner Sebastian! ||||The first thing he does is give you his number which proved a lifeline when I was desperate to collect some cash from Western Union. Sebastian is full of good advice about places to eat, the price of tuk-tuks, where to get things you lost or forgot to pack, and will arrange late-night tuk-tuks to the station. ||||As as the Hotel he and his brother operate Ganesh Travels providing bespoke safaris into the Thar Desert

I stayed here with my family. Rooms were great and have plenty of hot water. The owner is very kind and helpful (he even arranged a bike ride for my parents as they can't walk. The desert trip in Sam sand dunes arranged by our hotel was absolutely great. The camel ride, the food, jeep safari was perfect with very reasonable prices. I would highly recommend this hotel very much.

One of the best place to stay in Jaisalmer. Host Is a great and friendly person and you will feel like home. Highly recommended this hotel in Jaisalmer. Rooms are clean and spacious. Thanks alot for this beautiful stay.

Very welcoming, great value for money only 250 best hot shower we had in three months, brilliant roof top resturant, cinnamon chai and banana lassi. Good size portions, stuffed tomato very yummy. Not inside the fort but only 3 min walk and maybe for the best as not noisy.the staff are very very friendlyand took good care or us

Totally recommend this hotel in Jaisalmer One stop for all your travel needs Mr Sebastian was so helpful and explained everything in detail !! Arranged desert ride and stay as well!! You will feel the best!! About rooms they are spacious, clean and tidy!! And safe as well for female travelers Cheap as well

We stayed here after booking a camel safari with Ganesh travels (I highly recommend the safari too). Booking the safari we we offered a room at their hotel for 150Rupees for a couple and 100Rupees for a fellow companion on his own (without bargaining - low season). ||The value for money cannot be overstated! ||||This hotel is not in the fort which is what we wanted, given the fort is sinking with excessive water in the drainage system due to over-population within the fort - PLEASE do your bit by staying outside the fort. ||There is a rooftop restaurant with a view of the fort and if you're off on a camel safari you are conveniently already at the meeting point, After the safari, if you go through ganesh you can come back for a free shower / nap, and they'll take care of your bags while you're away too. ||The staff were excellent. The room itself was basic and could have been cleaner but for the price you won't be worried.
