“Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend” ⭐☆☆☆☆ I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was a terrible experience. The television and geyser in the room were not working, which made the stay very uncomfortable, especially during colder nights. Despite raising the issue with the staff, there was no resolution or proper response. The food quality was extremely poor, and it did not seem fresh at all. On top of that, the service was incredibly slow and unprofessional—it felt like the staff had no interest in attending to guests’ needs. Overall, this hotel failed to meet even the most basic expectations. Definitely not worth the money, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

The room was dirty and untidy. The location is accessible, but they will lure you into taking a taxi of their hotel which starts from 1000₹. The bathroom was small and dirty. The blankets, bedsheets were old and unclean. When we complained about it to the manager, they told me that staff was not available so the room looks untidy. The rates are on higher side for this kind of hotel, only the outer face of the hotel looks appealing, not the rooms.

This place is few kilometers away from the jaisalmer railway station but located in peaceful place. Internally this place is traditionally designed & no doubt in that but whereas the rooms & service were just not upto satisfactory level since a lot of improvements are need to be done. Our stay was okayish but could have expected a bit more!

Rooms were okay quality and toilets were okay too. Bed linens and towels were dirty. The service provided was quick though and staff was taking care of any concerns quickly. Food quality was average. The primary reason for overall low rating is due to false promises by Rishi Patel who was managing the overall booking of the hotel and tour. No quality maintained as promised during booking. On top of it, Jodhpur sightseeing tour was not provided at all and assigned driver was fighting to say it’s not there in itinerary. Overall worst experience with false promises and charging exorbitant prices with poor quality services and lack of services. Advise people to stay from this hotel owner and this agent for any booking in Jaisalmer.

Worst hotel ever. The rooms are quite dirty. Bathrooms are dirty the taps and the flush nobs are broken. The staff is non cooperative. Just one of the worst stays. Highly recommend to avoid this hotel. The pictures posted by the property are just misleading.

I booked multiple hotels for my Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, and Bikaner trip from December 2024 to January 2025 through MakeMyTrip. Unfortunately, my experience at Golden Rock Jaisalmer was extremely disappointing. The room we received was nothing like what was shown in the pictures on the website, and it was not the room type we had booked. We arrived late at night, and the staff were rude and unwelcoming, which was particularly troubling as I was traveling with my family. We had no choice but to stay in the small room with inadequate amenities. Additionally, in restaurant food was not available, and the hotel had nothing to offer. Other guests were also complaining about the same issues, but there was no one available to address their concerns. Despite the hotel being rated 4.2 stars on MakeMyTrip, my experience did not reflect that rating at all.

More then the experience of hotel would like to share the overall trip experience of Jaisalmer. Since their earning season is just of 3 months i felt that Jaisalmer as a whole lacked the hospitality culture.People working there just want to cash in these months and earn big, they don't care at all about the tourist coming in. People are rude in general and they give false promises at every step of your stay. It was family trip and we stayed from 21 dec to 25 dec 2024 at golden rock hotel and my overall experience was highly disappointing, the staff was rude, food was pathetic and what more they served the same menu is breakfast and lunch/dinner, rooms were dirty and smelly. The staff kept lying to us on various things be it organising the transportation, cleaning the rooms or giving the us food for our train journey (for which I payed). If you are planning to go to Jaisalmer then opt for a high end hotel which offers expected facilities rather then these mid range hotels. The overall trip cost me between 1-1.25 lakh and it feels the entire money has gone down the toilet. The only positive was the desi aroma restaurant which was a thing of beauty and gave us a little joy otherwise Jaisalmer as a whole requires an 180 degree shift. I know I haven't shared much details here and it not worth it but be careful while dealing with the locals at Jaisalmer the next time you plan to visit.

Worst hotel. This hotel has looted me. Rooms were dirty. Water was not coming. On top of that they have recommended bad dessert camp which overcharged me as well taxiwala. Avoid this hotel at any cost
