Hotel Shanti Home

We had an amazing time at Hotel Shanti Home! It was even better than the photos — clean and well decorated, everything was so clearly thought through. I’d highly recommend this hotel and will return again if I come back to Jaisalmer. Super close to the fort and has a really great view from the roof, where we enjoyed having a delicious breakfast each morning of our stay. Owned and operated by two brothers, hospitality certainly runs in the family!

We had an excellent stay with Lala at his beautiful guest house. Lala is an incredibly friendly host who can help you with anything you need at Jaisalmer. The rooms were clean, the AC was cold, and the balcony space was always cool no matter how hot the days were. 10/10

We had a very nice welcoming by the owners Lala and his brothers. All the services and the room were perfect. They took care of our stay and gave us advices about our visits. I would highly recommend this place.

We have had a totally wonderful stay here. The team have looked after us beautifully with delicious food, arranging a desert camping trip, recommending a perfect massage place and arranging transport. They looked after my husband when he arrived here unwell and let us use facilities to wash after checkout before we move on. The whole hotel is beautifully clean and welcoming and overlooks the fort. Highly recommended.

It's a very decent hotel with a rustic feel. The room was spacious enough and equipped with all the amenities. A tasty, home-like breakfast was served on the rooftop with a view of the Jaisalmer fort in the morning. Fort is just five minutes away from the hotel. There is also a market nearby. Gadisar lake is also within walking distance. The host was very helpful with all our requests and very humble. Additionally, they provided us with a good itinerary and good food options. In case you check out early and want to wander around a bit, they also store luggage. Would definitely recommend it for your stay .

HOTEL An absolutely fantastic hotel. Lala and Chimmy looked after us from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The rooms were clean and tidy and the rooftop seating areas were stunning. Food was cooked for us in the evening and morning while we at on the rooftop and had views of the Fort. CAMEL SAFARI The hotel also arranged a camel safari for us. It included a full meal cooked over a log fire, camp beds under the stars and the most caring and guides you could wish for. The camels were well trained and wonderful the ride, mine was called Michael Jackson. I would fully recommend staying here and also booking the camel safari if possible.

This hotel did not disappoint! Often online fotos are deceiving but this hotel is just stunningly beautiful! The rooms, the sitting areas upstairs, even the reception area are very inviting. The hotel is very clean and owner/ staff are very friendly. Shampoo and soap are being provided. There are several charging ports for your electronics all around the property. It’s not a problem to leave your luggage and freshen up should you be travelling later in the day after checkout. |Everything was very good. Transport to and from the bus station can be arranged with the owners.|The hotel is in a very central location, sights are in easy walking distance. |Definitely a great place to stay here in Jaisalmer!

This is our 4th time traveling to India and 2nd time to Jaisalmer. I will keep fond memories of this hotel where everything was perfect! The incredible welcome from Lala and her brother, the high-quality furniture, the refined decoration of the rooms, the hearty breakfast, the cleanliness, the location of the hotel right next to the fortress, the organization of safaris in the desert.... In short! The best hotel in all of India! Absolutely worth choosing!
