The Stepwell Hotel

Had a great stay at The Stepwell Hotel. We were at the Family Room with a direct view of the Stepwell. Kept the kids occupied for hours. Rooms were spacious and well furnished in local style. Breakfast was served at the Stepwell Cafe. Extensive selection. Service across the board was excellent. Special mention to Tarun for the great food recommendations - both in the city area & at Raas (part of the same group - walking distance away).

The tastefully redesigned new rooms at the stepwell hotel are just perfect. I have stayed here a couple of times in the past because of the very central location in the old city. Hence access to vibrant cafes and stores nearby is very easy, mostly just a few minutes walk away. And with breathtaking views of the Mehrangarh Fort, I wouldn't choose any other hotel property in Jodhpur.

A thousand stars for the hotel and the courteous staff. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the most comfortable. We were upgraded to a suite, which had the best view of the Toorji ka Jhalra (Stepwell). The Suite has a bed, two reading nooks that could double as a bed, two bathrooms and a dressing corner. The room was very well lit during the day and the night lights gave it a warm and a cozy glow. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There were ear plugs on the bedside table for the sensitive sleepers. The suite came equipped with an air conditioning, so the temperatures within were comfortably low for us to have a good night's sleep. Both the bathrooms were clean had a toilet and rain shower heads and came with a shower gel a shampoo, a conditioner, a moisturizer and more. There's ample storage for the clothes and the bags. The Suite was sofisticated and sprinkled Rajasthani elements. Breakfast: had everything; croissants, cut fruits, cereals, eggs, chai and Espresso. The breakfast cafe has a great ambiance and again the view of the Stepwell. A special mention : I twisted my ankle during a walk through the city and requested ice for the room. The staff inquired about my ankle and actually got a masseur to attend to me. I was touched by their kindness and courtesy. Also they arranged for the taxi and let us store the luggage until it was time to leave to the airport Truly felt like royalty. I would definitely recommend this place.

This is a very good and nice hotel, the room and service are very good. Extremely clean. The breakfast is served in the Stepwell Café, only 20m from the hotel on the left side of the Stepwell. You can also see the fortress from the hotel Windows. It is right on the city center, clock tower and market are 5min away. It was a refreshing and pleasant experience!

Me and my friends from different parts of the world stayed in this place for two nights. From the moment we got out of our tuk-tuks, the manager was so welcoming and very professional. The same thing can be said about all of the staff members, all of them are very kind and helpful. Overall, the service was amazing. The hotel itself is very pretty, starting from the entrance and the main desk. The rooms are beautiful and so well designed, the windows are lovely and the view to the Stepwell is amazing. Everything was clean and organized, plus there are some really nice books for you to read. The location is great since there are tons of restaurants around and small shops where you can buy small groceries. Just amazing!

The staff was friendly and accommodating. However, the stay was pretty disappointing. The rooms are way smaller than the pictures. They lack basic amenities. The bathroom was really outdated. The room also wasn’t properly cleaned and had trash from the previous guests. They do give complimentary breakfast at Stepwell Cafe. The cafe has a great view and ambience, and the hosts provide nice reminders for breakfast. However, the breakfast is average. The only good thing is the location! And the good views of toor ji ka jhalra.
