One of the noticeable shortcomings is the initial hospitality service. The welcome amenities — including bed tea, and the first round of tea or coffee — are poorly managed. In a culture where hospitality begins with a warm beverage, such a weak start creates a less-than-ideal first impression. Moreover, the management appears to take a conservative approach when it comes to providing basic consumables like tea, coffee, and milk powder sachets in the rooms. These items are often given sparingly, or only upon insistence, which can make guests feel unwelcome or hesitant to ask. Small gestures, such as freely available refreshment kits, go a long way in enhancing the guest experience. The negotiation over room rents is another area that needs clarity and professionalism. While flexibility in rates is understandable, the process of negotiation should be structured and transparent. A published tariff with occasional offers would appear more respectful and organized than informal haggling. A surprisingly overlooked detail is the absence of any image or symbol of “Shreeji” — the very divine name the facility honors. None of the rooms or premises display any picture, mural, or insignia of the deity. For a place bearing such a spiritually significant name, this absence seems like a major oversight. Incorporating devotional art or symbols could not only uplift the ambiance but also honor the name in its true sense. Despite these areas of concern, the construction and layout of the property are commendable. The infrastructure is solid, and the design feels grand and welcoming. If the management shifts a little more focus toward proactive customer care, guest convenience, and spiritual alignment with its name, Shreeji could significantly enhance its reputation and goodwill. Suggestions: Introduce a complimentary welcome kit in rooms with tea/coffee essentials. Display framed pictures or murals of Lord Shreeji in rooms and common areas. Provide clear rent tariffs with seasonal flexibility instead of case-by-case negotiations. Appoint a guest relations officer to ensure smooth onboarding and to handle feedback gracefully. Conduct regular staff training for hospitality and customer satisfaction. With a few thoughtful upgrades, Shreeji can transform from being a good stay option to a truly memorable and revered destination for events and family stays.
