Hotel Gorbandh Mount Abu

After staying in some awesome hotels on our trip in Rajasthan we had a very disappointing stay at Gorbandh Hotel in Mount Abu, India. Although it's location is very good, the hotel seems to have a serious hygienic issues. The furniture in the room was old and stained, bedsheets and towels provided were not very clean. Bathrooms not very clean. We even noticed a mouse in the room which the staff were not very concerned about.They did help to get the mouse out of the room. There were mattresses and rags all over in the corridors. Food was terrible. Even our driver refused to eat the food. The only reason we did not change the hotel that night was it was too late at night, and we were going to check out early the next morning. We would not recommend this place to anyone. Hope people do not fall for positive reviews. The hotel gets some stars for the location but barely one star for the rooms, food and general cleanliness. Hope this hotel gets checked by local health department.

Highly recommended, staff is very co-operative and helpful, neat clean specious rooms with all the facilities. Exterior also nice garden restaurant. Overall excellent stay. Special thanks to Mr. Banti and all staff. Thank you

Location is good Away from city traffic Otherwise everything is just horrible 1000 rs per hotel is perfact rate for this property If you are paying more than that Plz Don't

Visited by 23/24/25 may-25 The hotel location and rooms are good, but it does need better maintenance. We were charged ₹300 per person for breakfast, which included only aloo paratha, upma, and tea/coffee. For that price, the food variety was limited and felt a bit expensive. The overall food menu also lacks options. Hygiene needs more attention, especially in common areas. One important thing to note is that the hotel runs on solar power. Because of this, hot water is not available during night hours, which can be inconvenient. On the positive side, the staff is friendly and helpful, which made the stay more comfortable. Overall, it’s a decent place with potential, but improvements in maintenance, hygiene, and facilities would make the experience much better.

Great service, Clean Rooms, Nice outdoor Sitting. Just one issue : lighting in room is very dull. Otherwise Clean , maintained & value for money Hotel stay in Abu.
