Hotel Mamta Palace

In a word: Avoid. I had selected this hotel by looking at Google ratings and the price and I regret it. Please spend more money for your family and get a better hotel. Family vacation experience would be much better in a different hotel. Room was not clean. Water glass was dirty and I had to ask them to change it. Room smelled like paint. Their excuse was paint work in nearby hotel when there was no work going on. Toilet seat was broken. Shower was rusty. Room photo is different from real one. For hot water, you have to waste 2 buckets of cold water before you receive hot water which is poor design. Staff did not offer to carry luggage when I arrived and even when I left. They were eager to tell me to put a review so that I get a discount. When I told the best discount would only be ₹500, he just walked away. They deliberately gave us the most pathetic room that looks like a guest house. When i asked for a better room, they showed me one that needs more stairs climbing and is 2 floors higher than reception (that already is 2 floors high) which they knew my mum, a senior citizen, would find difficult. If you are after the location, there are other hotels nearby. Morning tea was an insult. We had better tea on the street than here.

Fantastic experience of staying at Hotel Mamta Palace. I booked two Deluxe AC Rooms.The staff is so humble and polite and equally cooperative. They help you out with every small thing that you require. The pure veg food is simply awesome. If you want to order non veg food they get it from a restaurant nearby. The rooms, washrooms and other areas of the hotel are neat and clean. I recommend it highly for people to stay at this hotel if they visit Mount Abu

Great Room service. Stayed in Couple deluxe rooms. the location is great. if you are planning for couple stay this hotel is good to go. Avoid booking if you are planning with kids or aged family member as there is no lift. you have to go upstairs for 2 floors for reception and for great view it is recommended to stay on top floor which is on 5th floor. see the entrance in the picture.

My feedback is based on my stay at this hotel. The entry has a long staircase, which wasn’t clearly mentioned in the photos. This is a major issue for senior citizens or anyone with mobility challenges, especially since there’s no lift available. Additionally, there’s no guarantee that the room you book online will be available when you arrive. Check in time was 11AM but room was not ready until we reached at 01:00pm. On the plus side, the food was good, staff behavior and supportive. However, the bathroom was in terrible condition—the toilet flush wasn’t working, and water was running non-stop 24/7. While they tried to justify it by saying maintenance work was in progress, I don’t think it’s fair to pay for such poor conditions. See the attached picture for reference.

Worst experience. Too much bed bugs(khatmal) in bed. Used towels given for use. Very dirty (fungal) laundry provided for use. Bed bugs created too much problem to sleep also get infected.

This Hotel is not for senior citizens because having 25-30 stairs to reach at Receiption and not have lift. Room service is poor NO tea cattle provided and NO bed tea before 7:30 am. Overall hotel looks like a guest house.

“Avoid This Hotel at All Costs!” This hotel is extremely disappointing. The rooms are in terrible condition—dirty, with old, dusty bed sheets. The bathroom was even worse, with poor cleanliness and malfunctioning basic amenities. The service is non-existent. The staff was rude and ignored any complaints. The rates are a scam. They charged ₹6000 instead of the advertised ₹1700, which feels like outright robbery. This hotel is not worth your time or money. Avoid booking here!
