1. It's not a Haveli, just a regular home turned into a guest house. 2. Rooms are located on the 2nd & 3rd floor, so in case you are travelling with someone who has problem climbing stairs, especially parents, please avoid this stay totally. 3. Only 1 room built on the 1st floor, both the bathroom and room is extremely cramped. 4. Room had AC, and clean bedding, with windows. 5. Charges are on the higher side for the kind of rooms they are providing. 6. Location is good, City Palace, Bagore ki Haveli, Gangaur Ghat, Ambrai Ghat etc are closeby.

The experience was really good. Just that we had requested room on first floor and was allotted on third but later the same was humbly managed and corrected. The host, Tej Singh Ji and his whole family is very humble. The food they serve is tasty and affordable. The rooms are situated in mid City and thus is walking distance from Lake Pichola, Bagore ki Haveli, City Palace and Jagdish temple. Overall experience was great. Would definitely recommend it to someone looking for an affordable good stay.

Locking a person in a building and refusing to let them leave upon request is a criminal offence and a violation of basic human rights. I have never been so outraged by an interaction with a hotelier as when I was told, over the phone, that at 23:30 on a Friday night, I was locked inside the building and they would refuse to remove the padlock on the front door. At that moment, I felt like a prisoner; disrespected, unheard, and deeply wronged. Additionally, this practice is profoundly unsafe concerning fire safety, as it involves placing a padlock on the front door and locking the only fire escape. There was no mention of these ridiculous policies on their website, which contains deliberate misinformation and false advertising. For example, they claim to offer a 24-hour service desk, which is clearly not the case, since one cannot leave or enter the building after 11 pm. Furthermore, they advertise rooms with balconies, which none of the rooms possess in any sense of the term, thus deliberately misleading and misinforming customers. Their guest and visitor policies are weird and ambiguous, not mentioned on their website. Therefore, if you are a solo traveller and bring someone back, be prepared for the morality police (the woman who works there) to subject them to twenty questions and an interrogation. This is completely unprofessional and inappropriate. Having paid for a room for two, I should be able to bring back whomever I wish. If there are outdated rules regarding this, they should be clearly stated on their website to avoid wasting my time and money. The rooms, tenuously described as having 'lake views', are adjacent to busy roads where loud traffic, barking dogs, and construction work necessitate the use of earplugs. Sleeping past 7 am is impossible here due to the noise. Do not expect a nice balcony with peaceful lake views; instead, expect an unpleasantly loud room, which, apparently, you can be imprisoned in at the owners' will, and where bringing back 'guests' becomes an awkward situation. I recommend avoiding this place; it is not described honestly or accurately, and the behaviour of the hosts (regarding locking me inside the hotel) was wholly unethical, unprofessional, and unacceptable, particularly. Absolutely disgraceful.

This home stay has an ideal location in old city. Cab cannot enter old city so take auto. It is walking distance from pichola lake, bagore ki haveli (where rajasthani dance and music show happens every evening + museum), mandir, city palace, and unlimited eateries (but trust me uncle's wife's food is the tastiest and healthiest!). Very nice experience. Homely people and atmosphere. Felt very safe as a female solo traveller. Uncle ji was so helpful, just like a father, caring person. He went out of his way to make my stay comfortable and memorable, from the beginning till the end. His family members are also warm people. AC is very good, cools the room fast. Bathroom was very clean. Health faucet leaking and taps are a bit tight but manageable. No power back up so electricity can go sometimes. Tasty ghar ka khana available in room at a very affordable price. Chaas was too good , i had it with every meal. Laundry is available but expensive, check other laundrymats available nearby. Need to climb 4 flights of stairs but it's a good workout and practice for many other stairs you will be climbing in udaipur!

The room is super well decorated, with nice views and has a great AC system. The family who owns the hotel is really nice and hepful with anything that you need and is providing and excellent handmade food a super good price. There is also a terrace with nice views to the lake.

I visited Udaipur for the first time with my family and pet. We stayed with Tej Singh ji and his family. At his haveli home stay. I have no words to explain this lovely family. They are just amazingly humble humans, just rare to find these days. They are sweet caring yet professional as well. I stayed at their haveli with my family for 4 days. We got amazing home cooked food, great reception and brilliant guidance throughout our stay. They planned out our complete visit and made all the travel bookings for us as well. Pros:- 1.Rooms and Toilets are really neat and clean. 2.Hosting family is super lovely. Hosting family is the best. I cannot thank them enough for being so humble, caring and helpful during our stay. 3.Brilliant location in the city centre. 4.Super Amazing Home Cooked food. 5.Pricing is really decent. Nothing is overcharged 6.They guide and help you with your travel plans with complete honesty. 7.They allowed us to stay with our pet. Cons:- 1. You have to climd three flights of stairs. This is okay if you are not travelling with elderly. 2. The location is city centre so if you are looking for secluded quaint space to stay, this might not suit you. My final verdict:- I am definetely going to stay with them again whenever I visit Udaipur again.

Booking rooms here was one of the good decisions on our udaipur trip. surprisingly good, family is good you will feel like staying at your own home with your family members. Nishchay ji is a great guy with very welcoming attitude. He helped us to explore local area with great food and drinks, thanks to you nishchay ji. also i loved the food you provided us late at night ( which your mother cooked for us, really tasty cant forget the taste), beautiful view from terrace and the time you gave us like a great friend. Highly recommended to all.
