★★★★★We found our stay here to be very relaxing. There are lovely views over the lake and lovely walks in the surrounding area. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The property is very well maintained and we were looked after very well by our hosts. Mr Singh gave us lots of advice on the area and suggested places to eat with beautiful settings on the lake. He even booked the table for us. If I were in Udaipur again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here.

★★This property does not have a view of the main lake in Udaipur but another small lake, it is also quite far from the old town, on a busy road and you cannot pop back easily whilst sightseeing. Mr Singh and his wife were nice but this could not make up for how we found the room. We booked on the basis of a guardian article but this was way out of date. First of all the roof terrace is not in use and we were told we could not breakfast up there due to there not being enough staff. The decor is very kitsch and was not to our taste, for example the bedroom was painted bright purple. The bathroom was very tired and smelt of damp and there was a dirty bathmat on the floor! We paid over £50 per night for a suite with balcony but the main balcony on the lake side is enclosed in glass which felt strange. The breakfast was a standard omelette but the portions were very small, only 2 tiny pieces of toast and when we asked for more this seemed to be a problem and we were only given 1 extra piece each. After paying £50 per night, we felt that the approach of rationing toast was quite stingy. Plus sides were the serving staff were very sweet and the bed was very comfy. However I just want people to be aware that this place is not in main Udaipur, has outdated decor and in our opinion did not match the price. Other rooms may be better but I would avoid the suite.

★★★★★We stayed in the suite on 2nd floor. The view was amazing. It was great to have the balcony covered with glass so we could sit there without feeling cold. It was a big plus as we wanted the bigger space with two young kids and they were quite happy looking at the ducks in the lake. The rooms were quite spacious and all the toiletries etc were good. Anything we asked for (from kitchen or front desk) was quickly sent.|| ||Mr. Singh suggested us to go to a few places and it turned out great. This was my first time staying in a small villa in India and I was a little apprehensive , but decided to book it because of good reviews, and it was worth it. The villa is very close to the lake and it was nice to go for a morning walk to the lake.||||Food was good and reasonably priced , but we found it too spicy. Please specify while ordering if you want it to be any different.

★★★★★On a week long road trip to Rajasthan in Aug 2016 1st week, with my family, we stayed at this property for 2 nights. Got to know about it through TripAdvisor and other online sites too. This was one of the best property we stayed during the trip with safe parking right in front of the 3 storey building having 24 hours security guard on duty. We got 2 rooms, 1 facing the road side while the other facing the Lake Pichola. Both the rooms were having spacious balcony with sitting arrangements. The rooms and washrooms were well decorated and indeed neat and clean. Located adjoining to Lake Pichola, this property is best suited for any one who loves a quiet and peaceful stay. The owner is a very gentle man and in fact keeps a tab on any basic requirement that you may need and tries to fulfil it without a second reminder.||||The awesome breakfast comprising of omelette and toast on the first day and poha on the second day is worth a mention. ||||The one and only set back that we experienced during the stay was, in spite of no other boarders during our stay, we were allotted one lake facing and one road facing, though we requested both the rooms to be lake facing.

★★★★We arrived at this hotel in need of a doctor and the owner called up the Director of the local hospital and had me seen to asap. Truly grateful to him for looking after us and being so accommodating. We had the suite overlooking the lake and loved it. It was a homely experience in a beautiful house. There is a temple overlooking the lake close by which was wonderful to visit first thing in the morning. Highly recommended if you are looking for something other than a bog standard hotel experience.

NillIt's not a hotel but merely a very small and compact two floored private property presented in the form of a compact neat and tidy guest house with limited catering and no bar facilities..... A property where the owner stays on the ground floor and guests are accommodated on first and second floors.
