Hotel Hilltop Palace

We recently stayed at this wonderful hotel in Udaipur and had a great experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making our stay very enjoyable. The views from the hotel were stunning and added a special touch to our trip. The staff stood out for their excellent service—always polite, attentive, and helpful. Although the location is a bit farther from City Palace and Lake, the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect retreat away from the busy city. Overall, it’s a great place for families or anyone looking for a comfortable stay with amazing views. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

Hi hotel location and view is amazing and worthy. Rooms and furniture is quit old Buffet food quality is good with limited option. Most disappointing is the reception staff from checking in to check out who are not at all customer friendly. I had missed my charger in the room which I asked them to check with the exact location on calling they said will check and later they didn’t bother to call back or neither receive the call

We recently stayed at this Palace style hotel in Udaipur City facing Fateh Lake and had a good experience. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Our rooms had lake views from the hotel and was a special touch to our trip. The staff stood out for their excellent service—always polite, attentive, and helpful. Although the location is a bit farther from City Palace and Lake, the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect retreat away from the busy old city. You can either hire local cabs or rent a bike as per your need to move around the area. Overall, it’s a good place for families or anyone looking for a comfortable stay with amazing views. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

TLDR - It's not worth it. It might have been a good hotel in the past but not anymore I paid ₹5000/night for 3 adults with breakfast. The first room we got had dirty floors and not enough space to add an extra bed. I requested another room since we were travelling with an infant. They gave us another room but its not different. I had to remove a bee from the room as the balcony door was open. Cleanliness of the room is below average. If you're traveling with family or especially an infant, please avoid this. It's totally worth it to pay few thousands extra and get a 5-star hotel. The location of the hotel is undoubtedly excellent. Also an interesting fact is that I can book the same room at half the price online if I were to book it now.

Location and view was amazing. Service was quick and staff was very helpful. We wanted leave little earlier then standard breakfast time, suresh Singh helped us a lot for that arrangement. Only issue was wifi. We had corner room, wifi was very bad. Otherwise worth your money.

I had this trip to Udaipur in September with my friends. It was the best travel experience I ever had. Thanks to this hotel, we had hell lot of fun. Truly justified its reputation. The staff was very helping and the tourist bhaiya who made us explore the beauty of this beautiful city.

The location and views were great, and the staff was friendly, but the room was disappointing. A leaking flush, non-working lights, and a faulty AC made the stay uncomfortable. Needs better maintenance.
