Friends and Family Homestay

I have planned to stay. while booking through makemytrip two different types of rooms one for 1 person and another for 2 persons. It showed second room not available. I made payment for one for two days. I booked another hotel through makemytrip. But no refund. I have not checked in and informed both hotel and makemytrip. ||Makemytrip says, hotel is not willing to repay. ||Be alert while booking your room. ||Navin Anand |7060261919

Stayed here with my family on my recent visit from US. The place seems to be a hidden gem and came highly recommended from a friend. Chose it over many other hotels since we wanted a home like feeling. The rooms are very nicely designed and artistically decorated. The host Gaurav has a very good knowledge of Udaipur and its surrounding areas and helped us shape our itinerary. Having a kitchen to use was a great plus.

I am having a very comfortable stay at the FRIENDS AND FAMILY HOMESTAY. The host family is very friendly and helpful. They provide a long term and a short term stay also. The property is a 4BHK bungalow with a beautiful garden in the front. Very Big, Clean & Spacious rooms with homely environment, as its name suggests. My parents searched it & find it safe for me. They also came in between to stay with us. Few of my friends also came & stayed here. Made few beautiful memories at this place.||The Homestay is located in the main central area. Having a walk able distance of both the popular lakes, old city area, city palace, Gangaur Ghat etc. the Satelite hospital, Jain Temple, Ancient Mahakelshawr temple are just 2 Min distance by walk.|| I am here for a long term stay for almost 2 months, they have helped me with all the basic services i.e., Tiffin, laundry, etc. they also have a great knowledge about the nearby places and suggests for the same. I am having a wonderful time over here. I recommend this place to all, whether they are coming for the short stay or the long one.

A perfect well maintained home in the heart of the city with beautiful antique interiors almost all self made and designed with love and efforts. Beautiful and safe home admist greenary. Many places to visit nearby. Highly recommended for the stay at Udaipur.

We visited Udaipur after alot of years. Happened to come across this property on MMT. The host helped us out with our travel from the airport to the property which was a comfort in itself as we were as good as new to the city. He recommended us a few places like Upre, Udaivilas, fatehsagar. We visited two of the above and both were pretty amazing. The house was clean, rooms were good. Reasonable for a family trip for sure.

we happened to stay here for a long stay for 2 months, as we came here for some internship training. Our parents located this place by seeing its safety, comfort, cleanliness & homely environment. the hospital, temples , & almost all the tourist places are at a walkable distance. the owner guides for the destinations to see & if you want, they can accompany also.||||We had an amazing fun here and this place is very safe and comfortable with all stuffs.The interior is so nice and all the arrangements are proper. Kitchen facility living area and dining area is also available.They always keep clean rooms and washroom and well spaced. Room service is also good.||||I recommend solo travellers specially girls, or trainees to stay at this place & feel secure & homely inspite of having your own privacy.

Please avoid at all costs. This owner is a fraud and he cancelled my booking last moment and denied the rooms despite being fully paid and booked in advance. He asked to pay directly if we want the room and forced us to take multiple rooms to get more money. Please avoid such fraudulent scamsters in Udaipur.

Comfortable place, Centrally located, walk able distance from 2 major lakes, friendly hosts, who guides you about the itinerary & places to see, eat etc. as per the time, comfort & budget of our. our kids enjoyed the garden & lobby area.we recommend it to all who wants to have feeling of home away from home.
