The Rustic Monk

We had a wonderful stay at the rustic monk. Everything was in good working order, and the staff was very humble and cooperative. The property's owner is a kind man who made our stay very comfortable by taking care of everything. The room was very clean, and I loved the interiors and the vibe. The hotel was in a prime location in the old city, many attractions were nearby. Overall, my friends and I had a great time at the Rustic Monk and would highly recommend it to anyone.

The BEST HOST, the most BEAUTIFUL VIEW and THE COSIEST PLACE. Me and my partner stayed for four nights with Bobby at the Rustic Monk. Bobby was so kind and considerate and gave lots of tips and did everything to assist us at all points. The rooms were nice and clean, tidy, cute with comfortable beds. The food at the restaurant made by Indrajeet was delicious and the roof top view of the lake and houses is super cool. Thanks Bobby you rock. Make sure to stay here, you'll have a great time.

The stay made my vacation even better. Not just for the sake of saying that everyone there was friendly but they really made us feel home & safe. Our flight landed 3 hrs earlier & we were allowed early check-ins. The rooms were authentic Udaipur style & very cozy. They were kind enough to keep our bags in their luggage rooms without any extra charges the next day after the checkout so that we could explore the city. Location wise, it was accessible to all the major tourist points. Our stay was worth remembering. Would 100% recommend you to stay at The Rustic Monk.

Cannot recommend highly enough. Relaxed, easy, gorgeous stay in Udaipur. I doubled my booking and would have extended longer if I didn't have to go.bhuge recommend! The main reason is Rustic Monk's operator, Bobby. The perfect host: helpful, subtle, tasteful and knowledgeable he accommodated my turning up in the morning darkness, handled any problems that turned up and gave me endless suggestions on how to spend the days. The rooms are lovely. The window day beds in particular are so comfortable. But it's the rooftop that makes Rustic Monk so memorable. I spent every afternoon late into the evening here. Rustic Monk's restaurant was not operating during my stay, but if you're looking to dine just for ambience you cannot find anywhere better - and I tried the fancy, expensive eateries in town. My happiest times in Udaipur were relaxing at the Rustic Monk or knowing I could return to its ambience. I can't imagine a better place to stay in Udaipur and look forward to my next visit. Very clean and tidy hotel. Especially the washrooms we're spotlessly clean. Rajasthani heritage paintings on the walls add a lot to the vibes. Best part is that they are very helpful people and put in all efforts to make you feel at home. Should visit for sure.

A very kind owner who went above and beyond to make our ends reach. Thank you dear Bobby Sir for the wonderful stay :) Location wise it is a perfect place in terms of having a balance between quiet and hustle bustle of the main touristy area. It is walking distance from almost all major places as well as it lets you sleep a peaceful good night without any noises of the street. Also look out for Bobby Sir's recommendations of the place, we followed all and had a wonderful trip.

Rustic Monk is a beautiful place situated in the old city with a breathtaking view of lake Pichola. The manager, Mr. Bobby ensured that we were provided with the best of services and was always available whenever needed. His hospitality towards us is really appreciated. Overall the rooms were extremely clean and the staff was kind and helpful.Rest assured, you will definitely get the best of services here.

This review is based on my stay experience in the property. The property is really really awesome with Rajasthani Décor in the rooms and common areas, the property is at walking distance from Lake Pichola and it can be found easily through Google maps, Mr. Bobby Singh, the visionary behind this property is so helpful, humble and inviting. They have small set up on roof top and a dedicated whole floor to sit and enjoy with friends/family members as well. Also, cleanliness of Rooms, Washrooms and Common Area is key highlight. We stayed for 2 days and it was worthy. All the tourist places, attractions and good food restaurants of old city area are at walking distance or will take few minutes by 2 wheeler. I will highly recommend this property for stay. Way to go Mr. Bobby Singh and his amazing venture 'The Rustic Monk'. Cheers.👍
