NillYashpreet take cares of us very well with warm welcome and a comfortable stay ...love the hotel with surprise 15 august celebration ....highly recommended. Complimentary hi tea with games really makes us to enjoy full vacation mode . Amazing hygienic and beautiful pool. Yummy breakfast and very polite ,professional staff . We also used their help desk to book cab services, which made our trip even better. The rates were reasonable, with timely pickup and drop, and the cab drivers were very humble and professional. The help desk person was very polite and responsible, taking care of every detail—even providing updates late at night.

★★★★★I recently stayed at The Fern Residency, Udaipur, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The services were well-managed, and the breakfast, dinner, and high-tea offerings were excellent in both taste and variety.||The staff was professional and helpful, with special mention to Mr. Jai (Front Desk Manager) and Chef Mr. Jai, who were particularly courteous and efficient in ensuring guests were well taken care of.||During my stay, there was a get-together arranged at high tea, with interactive activities and fun games that made the evening even more engaging. It was a thoughtful touch that encouraged guest interaction and added warmth to the overall experience.

NillHands down the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The place is falling apart and looks like it hasn’t seen maintenance in years. When I checked in, the flush didn’t work. The room stank, health faucets were rusted, cobwebs everywhere—it was honestly disgusting. The AC made such a loud noise it felt like a trumpet going off, and the hair dryer was just there for show. The whole vibe was dirty and neglected. Staff was nice, but that doesn’t save the place. I seriously regret booking this hotel. Don’t waste your money—there are way better options in Udaipur.

NillI booked for wintergreen premium and the Ac was too dirty. Water droplets coming down, not maintained properly, Mini bar and snacks was not available in the room. Bathroom size was not good, it was very congested. Shower was not clean, water was not coming in the right direction. Overall property serms to be old. Needed a large scale of renovation.

Nill🌿 The Fern Residency, Udaipur — Eco Comfort Meets Rajasthani Warmth Udaipur, with its shimmering lakes and royal charm, has always been one of my favorite destinations. During my recent stay in the City of Lakes, I chose The Fern Residency—a name synonymous with eco-friendly hospitality—and it turned out to be a stay worth sharing. 🛎️ First Impressions From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted with calm interiors and a fresh earthy vibe. True to its brand, The Fern Residency blends sustainability with modern aesthetics. The check-in was smooth, the staff courteous, and the ambiance? Instantly relaxing. 🏨 Rooms That Breathe Comfort My room was tastefully designed with a soft color palette, plenty of natural light, and just the right blend of comfort and convenience. It came equipped with all the amenities a traveler needs—from a cozy work desk to eco-friendly toiletries. Bonus points for spotless cleanliness and fast Wi-Fi (a must for any travel blogger on the go!). 🍽️ Culinary Delights Now, let’s talk about the highlight—the food! The in-house restaurant offers a delectable mix of local and global flavors. I kicked off my mornings with a well-spread breakfast buffet featuring everything from fresh fruits and cereals to piping hot parathas and South Indian classics. But the real treat was diving into the authentic Rajasthani thali for lunch—think dal baati churma, gatte ki sabzi, ker sangri, and more. Each dish was rich, flavorful, and clearly prepared with love. Whether you’re a spice lover or prefer milder options, the menu has something for every palate. 🌆 Location Perks Nestled away from the city chaos but close enough to major attractions like City Palace, Fateh Sagar Lake, and Sajjangarh Fort, the location is ideal for explorers. It’s a great base for both sightseeing and relaxing. 🌱 Green Stays Matter As a traveler who cares about the planet, I was happy to see The Fern’s commitment to sustainability in action—solar panels, recycling stations, energy-saving key tags, and eco-friendly amenities. It feels good to know your stay isn’t costing the earth. 🌟 Final Verdict If you're planning a trip to Udaipur and want a stay that’s comfortable, responsible, and delightfully flavorful, The Fern Residency is a perfect pick. Great food, serene vibes, warm hospitality, and a genuine commitment to the environment—it checks all the boxes for the modern traveler. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4.5/5) Stay Duration: 2 nights Best For: Couples, solo travelers, business trips, and eco-conscious tourists Budget: Mid-range

★I had a very disappointing experience at The Fern Residency, Udaipur. Despite the reputation and price, the stay was far below expectations:||Room Issues: The room we were given had no window at all – it felt claustrophobic and suffocating. When we requested a change, we were asked to pay extra just for a basic facility like a window, which even the cheapest hotels usually provide.|Extra Bed Delay: We had requested an extra bed, and it took an unreasonably long time to deliver. There was no sense of urgency or courtesy.|No Toiletries Provided: Basic toiletries were missing entirely from the room. We had to call and follow up, which again took time.|Poor Bedding: The mattress was completely worn out and uncomfortable. You could feel the springs, and sleeping on it was a nightmare.|Terrible Food Quality: We ordered paneer sabzi, and it was extremely sweet, almost like a dessert. It clearly wasn’t made with standard or local tastes in mind.|Unethical Review Practice: When we were checking out, the staff shamelessly asked for my phone so they could write a positive TripAdvisor review on my behalf, which I found highly unethical and dishonest.|Overall, it was a terrible experience. Would not recommend this place to anyone who values basic comfort, service, and integrity. Avoid.
