The Hospitality was the Best. Staff is very Polite. Breakfast was also very Fresh and prompt service. The best thing is the cleanliness of this property. Even the furniture of this property is well maintained, It's as Good as a Parsi House..I would highly recommend this property to my Friends and Family. Also will like to Visit again....

We had a good stay in Dev Villa. The place is well maintained and hygienic. I got my room on the ground floor which I booked for 2 days. The owner is friendly and helpful during our stay suggesting us to visit places nearby. The location is a bit outer side from the lake or Ghat making it quite and peaceful. If one is comfortable to manage the distance from the popular tourist spots than its quite reasonable stay at this boutique hotel.

We stayed at the homely property in august whilst our trip to Udaipur. We were so well taken care of, from the arrival, food to the housekeeping and right at the door the hospitality was extremely warm. The owners are personally involved in running this business and have no bones about it! such lovely staff attending to all our needs. They even left small gestures for our children in the room, which was beautiful. We are definitely returning on our next trip!

We got a room on ground floor only. Since we were there for exams so asked to change the room at more quieter part of the hotel/home stay. But we were denied since other rooms were occupied in mid week days. A bit noisy as the receptionist keep on talking with the other hotels staff other wise watching reels on full volume but they decreased the volume on request still we were there for a pleasant stay but it was not as expected.

Acceptable rooms.||Included breakfast is provided at their (much nicer) sister hotel 50m up the road. It is buffet but mostly Indian foods.||Staff English is virtually non-existent.||A very quiet location but too far from catching tuk tuks easily.

I had an outstanding stay at shahpura dev villa hotel in Udaipur! The hotel staff were incredibly friendl, the rooms and washrooms were spacious and spotless clean. The breakfast was also very tasty. I whole heartly recommend this hotel to anyone. Looking for a lovely and restful stay in Udaipur. Thankyou everyone.

Summary: "Just like your own house: Friendly Staff, Cozy & Peaceful Atmosphere" Good: 1. Dev Villa is a beautiful home. It's well built and decorated by Mr. Laxman and his wife. We felt at home here. 2. Very friendly staff. They were helpful about everything we needed, be it food, water, cabs or anything else. We went back to the hotel in the evening to spend some time before we left to another city. The staff was very helpful even thought we had already checked out in the morning. 3. Good location. It's a peaceful location, away from the crowded palace streets, yet close enough that you can reach there in less than 10 minutes. 4. Healthy and tasty food. The requested food items are cooked when they're ordered (which means you've got to wait for 30 mins for your food). It was a relief after having outside food for many days.

I had a great stay here. I traveled with Intrepid group. The staff was very friendly. The room was big and clean, we were lucky to have a balcony so we could try some clothes there. I wasn't feeling well one night but the hotel made food for me and suggested I sit on the rooftop and point out all the great views they had. The food was great, and enough options for breakfast. We had some laundry done there, they even refunded us for the few times I felt weren't cleaned properly. There was also a pharmacy and small shops for water within walking distance. Great place!
