The Lake View Palace Udaipur

Excellent hotel to stay with very courteous staff, who made my one week stay pleasurable and comfortable. Will surely recommend it, as it's conveniently located, to all the tourist attractions. The complimentary breakfast, has good varieties and their in house restaurant served delicious meals too.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights from 20 Feb 2025 to 21 Feb 2025. From my experience I am writing the below (1) Wash Room was stinking. Toilet Flushing was not working in Room NO - 202. In spite of complaining hotel staff they did not repair the flushing.We felt inconvenience while using Wash Room. (2) No hot water for bathing. Not taken seriously even after Complaining (3) With regards to bed room Though room was big The blankets, bed Sheets were dirty and yellowish. It seems they were not washed for months (4) In fact There was no maintenance work in wash room and Bed Room. While complaining Hotel staff they does not listen and says we should have done the reservation directly and not through Travel agent. (4) Break fast timing is 8 AM.But people are waiting up to 8:30 AM for breakfast. How ever Quality of food was good. (5) Finally The Service and Cleanness in this hotel is of lowest standard and does not suit the name LAKE VIEW PALACE and location.

Overall good experience! Great view of Chunda palace from room windows & a decent rooftop restaurant. Food is also good & staff memeber is well behaved. But on second floor some rooms are not well maintained plaster coming out so check room before check in.

Grand lake view homestay is the best hotel in Kashmir. It was my first time visiting Kashmir, and I've started getting vibes from jammu already and when I finally reached kashmir our driver helped us out finding a hotel, and the hotel was ok ok, but when we spent a day there in hotel First day, we thought to take a ride at shikara boat in dal lake and we met this guy Bilal (owner of Grand lake view homestay) We talked about city, places and hotel This guy said, you guys can try my hotel but you've to drink our famous tea(Kawa)first in my hotel. If you like the hotel, you can check in whenever you want and we shifted asa we made it possible, and our hotel search was over. The lake view was the best view i've seen in my life and luckily we got to see the snowfall in srinagar and the view changed into heaven. The service was outstanding, like these guys helped us getting drinks, and morning kawa were the best start of the day. These guys cook Maggie for the clients and help us feel warm everytime with heater, blowers and all. And most comfy things were their beds. They won our heart in every possible way. I'll always like to visit kashmir again and always love to visit Grand lake view homestay again (i literally want to live there for my whole life) Overall, hotel was outstanding, owner(Bilal Bhai)was one of the kindest and warm person I've met in Kashmir. And their helper Muhammad, I love this man. Abhi ke liye itna hii... Next time kashmir, next time Grand lake view homestay. X♡X⁠♡

Excellent service... It was a pleasant stay for me. The hotel staff was amazing they even aranged car for me. Manager Shiva was always helpful. One of the most beautiful lake view from the hotel. Must visit for awesome rooms
