Hotel Mahendra Prakash

Went to stay the night and ended up staying for 3 days. Was on a family trip to Udaipur and was trying to find a decent hotel with good vibes and tasty food along with parking and location. Got all at one place, plus the support staff was as friendly as they could be. They always made sure that we were comfortable during our stay there. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Oh, and did I mention their location? Almost everything was just a couple of minutes away on foot.

Amazing architecture and history. The rooms were beautiful and so clean. We had private balconies and views of the White Palace. The family and staff are so helpful, the service was brilliant. The breakfast was great, but a must try is the Peanut Masala. The hotel staff sourced a beautiful cake to celebrate my birthday. My overall thoughts were that it was a beautiful sanctuary in a beautiful but busy city. I would totally recommend.

Lovely property with lots of character. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms unique. We loved the old world feel. The staff was caring and helpful, always attending to our every need. Dinner was delicious in the courtyard as we sat in candlelight. Only a few steps away from shopping and the city palace. This place was a hidden gem. I would stay here again and would most definitely recommend.

One of the best hotel experiences I have had. Hotel has a mix of haveli style architecture with modern amenities and is perfect for a Rajasthan visit. Great location, nearby City Palace and Lake Pichola. They also help arrange for outstation and Udaipur travel when needed (paid for separately), and even that is really good! They even offered to pack breakfast for our travels which is something I have never come across in hotels! Truly a wonderful place to stay!

Our stay here in October was absolutely amazing. Not only was it in the best location for shopping and attractions, but breakfast was wonderful and the outdoor dining was lovely. The staff was utterly amazing and we wished we could have stayed longer. Definitely worth the stay. This is the India i always imagined

Had a lovely time at this boutique hotel. The staff are very friendly, like a family, and the ambience and location is charming and very central. It is quiet and across the road from a beautiful park that is popular among Indians and a nice break from the traffic.

We love this property in Udaipur! It makes us feel connected to the royal culture of the city. We’ve been here twice, and we can guarantee it never disappoints. The staff is friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and ensure a great stay. The food, vibe, and overall experience are top-notch! The owner is a super friendly and humble host.

A quaint and beautiful done family run hotel- which leaves you with a warm feeling. The hospitality is almost like a house guest like experience wherein they try to help you out in anyway possible. I was welcomed by a greeting from the cutest hotel pets (2 tortoises) who live in the garden and are attracted to the colour red. Each room is a uniquely decorated and I was told there are no repetitions in the design of the rooms. The breakfast is fresh with variety of options and you are graced with a live Santur performance. It’s the most beautiful start to the day. The hotel is also centrally located and you can walk to the City Palace, the jetty for the boats to JagMandir, the old town market for shopping. There is a spa as well which can be enjoyed during certain hours of the day.
