Kaladwas Lal Haveli

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a lovely relaxing stay. We found Udaipur quite busy so this was the perfect retreat for us to relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. We loved lounging on the roof terrace and listening to the distant sound of the streets below. The food was so delicious, some of the best we’d eaten in India and the servers were attentive to our requests. The breakfast was amazing! We enjoyed the delicious pancakes and poha. The building is really beautiful and we had an excellent stay. Would highly recommend!

I stayed at this hotel with my mom, and it has so many wonderful features. The room was incredibly spacious, with a small sitting area, a larger lounge, and a typical Indian-style desk. It also had a bedroom with a bed and a bathroom with a bathtub. The shower water was spectacular, and the décor throughout the room and the hotel was stunning, with original paintings and artifacts. You can tell the owners put a lot of love into every detail of the hotel. My favorite part was the dining area. I had breakfast on the cozy terrace, where you can see the sunrise in the mornings, along with squirrels and monkeys in the distance, as well as the roof of a temple and a tower with a large clock.

My stay at Kaladwas Haveli was nothing short of amazing! From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and hassle-free. The haveli’s architecture and ambiance truly capture the essence of Udaipur’s rich heritage. The rooms were well-maintained, the service was impeccable, and the food was delicious. I also got a pocket perfume during checkout !

A beautiful heritage property in the hearts of old city of Udaipur. Loved the rooms. We stayed in a suite room and the interiors were amazing. The old palace interiors were seen in the room. Furniture reminded us of the by gone times. Each room had a different theme and so wonderfully restored. A lot of hard work in making this so grand and beautiful. Kudos to Divyabhanuji and team. Waking up in the morning sunlight reflecting the coloured glass windows were a treat to see. The chef and Solanki were amazing. They recommended the local cuisine and it was so finger licking tasty. Lillve ki sabzi was too good. A must eat if you want authentic Rajasthani food. Loved the hospitality of the staff. Location of property close to sightseeing places and street food was added plus. Overall a wonderful stay. Our trip elevated as we enjoyed the stay here!

absolutely loved our stay here. The staff went the extra mile to make us feel special- even writing us a letter and bringing dessert to wish us well on our honeymoon. The location was perfect and meant we could walk to every site we wanted to see. The room was so spacious and clean. The dinner at the hotel was one of the best we've had on our trip. We are so glad we stayed here!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Kaladwas Lal Haveli. The property is stunning and rich in history i.e.(300 years old) with beautiful architecture. The rooms were elegantly decorated, and equipped with all modern amenities while retaining their old-world charm. The staff was incredibly warm and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. Every detail, from the decor to the service, reflects a deep respect for tradition and luxury. The cuisine was also a highlight, with a variety of dishes that delighted the palate. I highly recommend Kaladwas Lal Haveli for anyone seeking an authentic, luxurious, and peaceful retreat. It’s a perfect blend of heritage, comfort, and exceptional service.

An amazing well restored Haveli. This piece of history (300 years) has been carefully restored with all the comfort needed. The staff is lovely and very attentive. It is a perfect place to live an amazing experience and feel like a prince and princess. We also had the luck to meet the owner who shared with us the history of his family house. Food is also very good with a special mention for the Poha at breakfast.

The the most incredible stay in Udaipur, really great central location - you can walk absolutely anywhere from here! The staff are incredibly accommodating and caring. Felt like we were in a home away from home! The environment is quite noisy but even then the hotel provides earplugs if you need - we typically were so tired that we knocked out at the end of the day 😂 Looking forward to coming here again the next time I am in Udaipur!
