Hotel Dera Pichola

Had an amazing stay at Hotel Dera Pichola. It's in the hearts of the old city so can only be reached by autos (Do confirm with the reception for guidance). Lanes are very narrow for taxi and cars in last 1.5 km. About the property, rooms were very clean and spacious. Rooftop restaurants is a vibe and food was delicious. Staff is very polite and quick. It's a whole market and pretty breakfast places just on a walking distance. Location is absolutely perfect for exploring everything heritage on foot.

Feb 25, Nice stay here with good rooms, very clean bathroom. Rooftop restaurant and bar is excellent with lake view. Local streets is very nearby and enjoy wondering here in leisure. Staff is very supportive and helpful.

The hotel is located at the perfect location. A lot of major tourist attractions are a walkable distance from this hotel. We booked lake facing rooms. They have their roof top hotel as well which looks perfect at night. The room service is good, the washrooms were clean. People at the reception are kind and helpful. I will definitely recommend this stay 10/10.

Had a lovely stay at Dera Pichola hotel in Udaipur. The rooms are exactly like you see on the pictures. They are neat and clean and spacious. The bathroom is also big and clean. The staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. You have a nice lake view from the room and will feel like coming back to your room and relaxing after a tiring day of walking around at the famous places and lakes. The only draw back( but not a showstopper) is that the hotel is in a narrow lane and your car cannot reach the entrance of the hotel. So you will need to take an autorickshaw to reach the hotel. They are easily available and will charge you Rs.100 from Amba mata parking, where your car will drop you. The hotel has a lift and the staff are very friendly and professional. Food is also good but a little expensive. They have a nice rooftop restaurant with a good lake view. The surrounding hotels have rooftop restaurants too along with love music, so you will hear loud music in the evening but that will stop by 9 or 10 pm. The hotel also provides laundry service and they give it to you the same day, which is good for tourists. It's a little expensive but worth it if you have a short stay and need fresh clothes. Overall a very good experience, go ahead and book it you won't regret.

Location is excellent, overseeing lake pichola and in close proximity of historic monuments such as Bagore ki haveli, Jagdish Temple, City Palace. Rooms are quite spacious and staff are friendly and service oriented. Breakfast at rooftop restaurant overlooking lake is fabulous experience. Recommend staying.

I stayed here from 25.10.24 to 28.10.24. -The rooms are clean and neat. -The view from the room is great. The sunrise view is good. -The breakfast was just WOW. The poori and aloo Paratha are a must try. My mom is a very picky eater and if she says it is good food, then it is really good. -The location is very close to all sight seeing places in udaipur. All is not perfect though. -The water in room 301 is not in full flow. It got clogged. Though the hotel cleaned it once, the next day it was the same issue. -The hotel is in the old city and the cab/taxi cannot reach the hotel. So getting to distance places is an issue. The closest the taxi can get to the hotel is amba pol gate. - The music from the restaurant is abit loud

The hotel is not accessible by car. The room does not have a wardrobe. A tiny cloth hanging rail is provided over the electric kettle compromising safety and hygiene. The entrance to the hotel is filthy and always is occupied by parked motorcycles.

We stayed here one night it was very good experience. The view from the room was very beautiful. Staff were welcoming and polite specially sarita (front desk staff)she helped us to explore places. Service was very fast. And most important thing is their rooftop lake view restaurant it has a great view of lake pichola and city palace. Overall experience was excellent. Highly recommend.
