The room itself was old, worn, and visibly dirty, with stained bedsheets and pillows. There was also active leakage on the wall. The food was unhygienic and low quality. This hotel falls far short of a 3-star rating. Avoid at all costs!

Deeply Disappointing Stay - Avoid This Hotel! Our recent experience at this hotel was profoundly disappointing and fell far short of any reasonable expectation, let alone a 3-star rating. From the moment we entered our assigned room, we were met with an unbearable and pervasive foul odor, seemingly originating from a "mat potty" present in the room. This stench permeated the entire floor and made our stay immediately unpleasant. Beyond the overwhelming smell, the general condition of the room was appalling. Everything felt old, worn, and neglected. The bedsheets and pillows were visibly dirty, raising serious hygiene concerns and making us question the overall cleanliness of the establishment. Adding to the misery, there was active leakage on the room wall, a clear indication of significant disrepair and lack of maintenance. The issues didn't end with the room. The food served was unhygienic and of very low quality, further compounding our negative experience. Based on the unacceptable state of our room, the pervasive odors, the lack of cleanliness, and the poor quality of the food, we can unequivocally say that this hotel does not meet the standards of a 3-star establishment. Our stay was truly unpleasant, and we would strongly advise others to avoid this hotel to prevent a similarly disappointing experience.

DO NOT STAY at Hotel Snow Lion, Gangtok. This was the most disgusting and disturbing hotel experience I’ve ever had. The room was in a horrifying condition – filthy bedsheets, foul smell, spider webs all over the walls and ceiling, and to top it off, actual human potty on the bathroom door mat. That’s not just dirty, that’s inhumane. It’s clear they do not clean or even inspect the rooms before handing them over. The bathroom was moldy and stinking, clearly untouched for days. The food was just as bad – unhygienic, tasteless, and made me feel sick. Nothing about this hotel is safe or comfortable. The staff was rude and completely unbothered when we complained. This is not a hotel – it’s a health hazard. Staying here was a huge mistake. If you value your health and peace of mind, stay far away from this place. I genuinely believe this hotel should be shut down by authorities.

Management is not good ,we are going through the travel agency to gangtok and darjeeling and they said that they drop us in hotel ,but they don't and they drop us in half way not in front of hotel then we need to peek taxi privately.thus we complaint and they doesnot refund money to us.

Actually it's a pretty cool place near the mall so it's good and the eating area is also good but when I stayed there at 23 may 2024 the lift wasn't working and we only stayed there because of the lift so we could go up easily,even the lift wasn't repaired for hours,room were good but toilet was a Lil dirty.

So this is the worst hotel i have ever booked in my life after going through google reviews . 1. Room - i was travelling wid my baby n inlaws so i hd to be sure that the room is good n clean they send me photos of the room which i booked but when i reached der we got the most disgusting rum with no proper lights bathrum lock was broken water tape broken .so i complained for another rum but they said no room available n gave us the option for suite n a family room with extra money 2 hospitality - this is more than worst when i start complaining about the room they started showing der true colors after changing the room i called for water n food but instead they dont pick up n after 3 times calling they say we should order everything at 1time because our room was on top floor let me tell u there is lift after that also they talked rudely n dont pick up call Plz dont book this hotel or u will suffer if u complain my trip got spoilt because of this hotel

This place feels like an authentic hotel. The rooms are designed beautifully. The view is amazing! The balcony has insta-worthy frames. I would love to visit this place again. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. The staff is friendly and polite. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
