Hotel Orchid

one of the best mid-range hotels in Gangtok, Located in the centre, very close to the MG market shopping street. The only downside is the lack of elevator as it is the case in most hotels in the hilly areas. But taking a room on the top floor is worth it as it gives an amazing view of the bustling hill town .

Stayed at this property for a few nights. Service was excellent. The staff was extremely helpful. They went out of their way to help us with little things. The breakfast was pretty basic but tasted amazing. The omelet in particular was really well made. (There is no running kitchen though. So lunch and dinner have to happen at restaurants around the hotel. Try the ones at M G road. It's a nice walk with lots of food options.) There is constant hot water in the bathroom. The room smelt nice. Toilet rounds felt like toilet rounds at home. This is meant as a very high compliment, of course.

Liked it cause of the hospitality we recieved. There was no enough view from the room though the facilities were good and clean. We got good complementary breakfasts but as it was an off season stay they were limited. The hotel could have gave more offers accordingly. Though it was rainy season(Aug first week, 2022) it was a bit hot in side the room at day time. You could ask for a pedestal fan if needed as there isn't any fan and AC inside the room. Definitely one wouldn't need it in Gangtok. Still sharing the info.

Ibstayed with my family in this Treebo Trend Orchid in Chikmagalur. It was a pleasant stay.Staff was helpful. The best part is we hot a free breakfast coupon for my family. They have restuarant Vishnu Delicacy in the group floor. This hotel serves both North and South Indian food.Food taste is really good. Overall it is was an excellent stay.But only only thing weekend rates are really high compared to weekdays

Our 4-night stay in a triple deluxe room at Treebo Trend Orchid in Gangtok was wonderful. The hotel's modern amenities, along with the comfortable room, ensured a pleasant and relaxing stay. The staff's hospitality and the convenient location added to the positive experience. Highly recommended for a memorable trip to Gangtok.

Just average hotel but helpful and well behaved staff. Pros: Good location..very close to lal bajaar and mg marg for shopping..nice view from hotel window. Staff provided room heater without any extra cost. Breakfast had limited options but was freshly made and good taste. Cons: Room was small..didn't even had a wardrobe for hanging clothes and though there was geyser but didn't get hot water. There is traffic noise in hotel room. Also, there are lot of stairs to climb and the parking lane beside the hotel is government owned which caused us to carry our bags to the taxi in stand which was a trouble in the rains.

This is a super value for money hotel as I had got it really at good rate. I was travelling solo. The hotel doesn’t provide any lunch or dinner as there are many restaurants outside at mins walk to choose from. Pros: Location is superb as its in mid of Gangtok market. I was on 3rd floor so view outside was really great Bathroom was neat and clean Complimentary breakfast was really great Staff are cool and friendly Cons- I felt really, None :)

Rooms are clean and perfect for couples, just a little bit small. Staff and service is top notch. Hotel location is amazing. Front gate leads to main road for car pickup and drop. Back door stairs leads to MG Marg directly. Breakfast is included which is sufficient, don't expect something awesome. Lunch and dinner is not served in hotel. Overall I recommend tourist to book this hotel if you want a decent stay in Gangtok near mg Marg. Recommended !
