Just ok ok hotel. Manager of the hotel tries to show that he is so active and supporting to the client but actually it is not. The commitment wasn't there. Amole amount of delay happened because of extremely late serving of breakfast and also they are deficient of the utensils and cutlery. Their cooking staff is not capable to provide things in time. We had to wait for second round after about 01 hour. Second thing is that the hotel is very far from the MG Marg and coming to hotel in night from MG Marg is real punishment. So think before you you book it.

Room service was not up to the mark. The bathroom was clean and accessories were there for only 1 person. Nicely maintained a neat and clean room was there. You will find amazing and expensive Food here. The hotel is Budget friendly but the food is a little expensive and the taste is also not that great. You have lots of varieties in veg as well as non veg People here are cooperative and friendly. Happy visiting. Enjoy your room and meal.

Hotel Bankhim residency the one of the best hotels in Gangtok. I recently lodged there. Rooms are very cleaned and equipped with all essential things.Most of the rooms has mountain view. You can easily take the enjoy of mist in morning and the time of evening. Hotel staff are very polite and always ready to serve you better. Kitchen and dinning hall is well maintained. Hot water facility is available. Though the hotel is not decorative but best in service. Mountain view is adorable. Hotel is far from main city. You can take any running cab to reach MG Marg or any point of the City. It's very near to lower Helipad area. I recommend this hotel. you can book through any online booking sites.

Stayed here for 02 nights with family. I. found Bankhim to have a nice welcoming ambience. The upkeep of the property is of a high standard. It's hygienic rooms and amenities make life comfortable. The interaction with the staff was very pleasant and informative. The food preparation was tailored to individual needs and well prepared. Overall a good choice. This was 2nd time i stay here and its worth it. Our breakfast and dinner was included it was really good specially aloo paratha.. Akash Sonar is a great person he not only help us for stay but he guide and help us for vehicle arrangement and sight seen as my mom was not well he arrange brkfst dinner everthing in room. Very genuine and kind person. You can connect him anytime if you face problem and he always available and help you out..

"You can probably go with this hotel if you don't care about the food quality🥣🥪🍜 or your expectations after spending a lot of money" Pros:✅ 1. You will be treated to a breathtaking view (if you select the balcony with room) 2. The hotel manager's good manners (Mr. Peter) Cons: ❌ 1. You must follow their rule in order to get the food (not free food); that is, they have a specific time slot outside of which you will not be able to get the food. 2. Their menu card lists hundreds of items, but you only receive about 10-15 of them, this is so funny I know. 3. The food quality and quantity are inadequate. 4. The room is adequate, but the amenities mentioned on other websites are not available. "Now it is totally up to you" 😉

I stayed with my family for one night as a stopover before proceeding to North Sikkim. The room was functional but clean. The reception is not immediately visible when you reach the hotel, in fact it is two stories above. Had dinner and breakfast which was light on the wallet and good overall.

Rooms with balcony view are awesome as you see the scenic beauty of mountains and clouds. Food service is good. Its peaceful and little outside of busy city, its better if you have your own cab for transport.
