Hotel O Sikkim Regency

After a tiring journey we expected to have peaceful stay in this hotel but no that dint happen. As we entered the room we noticed that it smelled like hell. It was impossible to spend two nights here. We asked the management to change the room but they didn't. They tried to put odonil in the washroom but no use of that. We even couldn't eat our food. The dusbin was not clean and full of cigarette stubs that also they did not clean instead asked us to put it outside the room. Worst part: it was very cold and the blanket smelled of everybody else who had visited. Instead of being so cold we dint use the blanket. We were three girls traveling and it dint feel safe in this shady place as people as were staring making us uncomfortable as a result we checked out from here next morning and shifted to a much better hotel denzong inn. I want this review to get posted to alert other travelers. This review was not posted on other sites but this is true event.

This hotel is located at chungthung road , deorali , GANGTOK. This hotel is very clean and hygiene was properly maintained. The behavior of the staffs was pretty good. The rooms were clean and well decorated. Room service was very good. This hotel provides wooden finished floors. They have geysers in each bathroom. The foods of this hotel was very tasty and good. Foods provided : 1. Veg pokora and tea for snacks 2. Luchi, sabji, suji halwa / bread, butter, omelette for breakfast 3. Rice, dal, aloo posto, beguni, fish curry, chutney, papad 4. Roti, chicken curry / mutton curry

I stay this hotel for four night. Some room are good. But few bathroom has no window or air circulation system. It make very bad experience to stay this room. Food quality and staff behaviour is good. It is half km far from mg marg. This hotel is beside main road. This hotel is near to NJP taxi stand. Overall experience is good.

I visited Gangtok with my wife in May 2015 and we thought we would book a budget hotel as we were on a long trip. We booked the hotel for two nights. When we arrived to this hotel , and checked in, to our shock, the room was filthy, so called carpet had stains all over, switch boards were broken, dirty/filthy toilet, no water in wash basin. I immediately cancelled my booking and booked Summit ttakshang. I strictly recommend you to avoid this hotel if travelling with family. Even as a bachelor i wouldn't go to this hotel. This mid range hotel is situated at Deorali. Rooms are ok, staff are friendly. Nothing more to say. Restaurant also don't have any special to mention. Better options are available nearby.

Nice .hotel ... The place is also nice ...and natural beauty is also good ..the behaviour of the staff are good and also helpful ...the rent of the room is not expensive ...offesason you will get the room at low price..behind this hotel there police station also available ...so you safely stay this hotel ..the food is also good ..plz visit this hotel ...

Doesn't meet my expectations but it's is ok in mid range hotel category... They are also providing the local tour facilities at decent price. Hotel is located near Siliguri to Gangtok Taxi stand. City Ropeway is very close to this Hotel.

Very basic budget hotel. If you are on tight budget, you can stay here. Service was not up to the mark.
