It deserves a minus star.||||The owner thinks he is oversmart, check the photos and check your hotel booking, we were there on 11-Oct-2024 to 12-Oct-2024, total group of 16 heads.||||The worst hotel experience I've ever had. This place is incredibly disappointing, and I strongly urge anyone to avoid it.||||The staff were very unprofessional, unfriendly, and completely unhelpful. The food was terrible—way below any acceptable standard. To make matters worse, there wasn't even a proper dining room; meals were served in an uncomfortable, cramped space.||||In our room, multiple lights weren’t working, and the geyser was out of order, making it impossible to get hot water. The mattresses were of terrible quality, and the rooms were infested with toxic bugs, making it a struggle to get any rest. Overall, the conditions were highly unsanitary and uncomfortable.||||NBSTC tourism booked this place as part of a tour package, and it felt like a complete waste of money and time. I expected a much better experience and am left incredibly disappointed. Avoid this place at all costs if you want a pleasant stay in Gangtok.

Absolutely appalling experience at this hotel! Our group of 16 stayed from Oct 11-12, 2024, and encountered numerous issues. The owner's arrogance was palpable, while staff were unprofessional, unfriendly, and unhelpful. Subpar food, cramped dining space, non-functional lights, broken geyser, poor mattresses, and bug-infested rooms made our stay miserable. Sanitary conditions were severely lacking. Booked through NBSTC tourism, this hotel was a complete rip-off. Strongly advise against visiting

I have been there for three days...the place is awesome but one thing that bothers me is food charge..this is my personal experience which i want to share..when i enter the hotel the guy in the reception shows me food menu that is different from the food menu when i check out from the hotel..these guys are thief they cost me 7000 rupees for home made food for four persons in 3 dinner.Breakfast is included in our package and we didn't take lunch..i request you to all please check the food menu and ask them to give you original menu when u enter the hotel..otherwise they will easily fool you with another menu when you check out from the hotel... You guys have shows that what you are and dont justify yourself with your silly things..i also travelled in mountains area.. I only warn future tourists about your Food Menu Scam..what you did to us.

It was a wonderful stay at Mazong Hotel. The staff especially Sharukh, Shubho, Rakesh and Asik were really good and helpful. They made our stay really comfortable and wonderful.

The Mazong Hotel. " Where Sikkim Begins".. Amazing place to stay. Nice and clean rooms.. Very good service by all the staff members and especially by Shahrukh.. Food was amazing. Homely and tasty food.. Barna gave the best hospitality. I will always recommend this place and also revisit.

Awesome Hotel located at Forest Colony. The hotel looks like a mansion with a antique touch! Rooms are well equipped with geyser, electric kettle, a comfy big bed, desk and ample storage space. The main attraction is garden and lawn here. Parking is also available. MG marg is just 1 KM away and will cost ₹25/ head in a shared taxi to reach MG marg. A great choice of stay will be The Mazong Hotel by Silverwood.
