The Narayani Continental Hotel

Avoid booking or staying at this hotel at all costs. The conditions are deplorable, and the staff are rude and highly unprofessional. We had booked three rooms for six adults and two children. After contacting us via phone and WhatsApp, they requested a deposit of Rs. 2000, which we paid and received a handwritten receipt on their letterhead. However, the hotel booked the reservation through Booking.com(don't know why), incorrectly listing six adults and three children (we have no idea why they added an extra child). Later, they canceled the booking for the children without informing us. When we arrived at the hotel in the evening to check in, we were told there was no booking for the children. This forced us to scramble to find alternative accommodations at night. The staff were not only unhelpful but also laughed at our situation. Despite having the receipt for our Rs. 2000 deposit, they refused to resolve the issue and simply asked us to leave. This hotel is run by scammers. Avoid booking with them online or through any other means. They will ruin your trip to Gangtok with unnecessary stress and waste your time.

We stay the narayani continental hotel.Rooms are ok but hotel stuff were too lazy,they are not active for service Also there was no car parking area.Also there were no person siting in recepson

It is not worth even 1 star. No lift. Stinking rooms and toilets. No exhaust fan in washrooms. In complementary breakfast, they provide only thick alu Parathas and bottled pickle which no one likes to eat. They evade bread in breakfast stating stock not available. Overall, avoid this hotel. They need to improve a lot to avoid this type of reviews. Only few young children aged around 20 yrs are there struggling to take care of Customers.

The rooms was ok but should be carpeted as Gangtok is having chilled climate. The bathroom was small.The food was average. Have to take taxi for MG marg visit and on returning have to hire taxi for returning to hotel room costing approximately INR200. Ok for short duration stay.

The room was good but the bedsheets were not that clean. The restaurant of the hotel was very slow and not worth the price.
