Lavanaya Retreat

One of the best hotel in gangtok. This hotel is 2.5 km from MG Marg. Rooms are well maintained, geyser is working properly, staffs are also helpful, it has dining area , it is a budget hotel in gangtok.

Last week I went there ...the location of the hotel is very bad, they do not hv lift...I was provided with a very dirty and dingy room..their food quality is 3rd graded...no intercom so no services available...do not go there you will be at hell ....the worst hotel in Gangtok

We had been there for a family outing.. the hotel was good as in the rooms were nice and spacious. But the only problem is it is a little far from the main mall road or the bus stop. it takes around 100 rs from the main mall road. But again i would like to mention the stay was good and rooms were clean and staffs good.

Nice Hotel, 1.8 Km from MG Market, Gangtok towards Tibetian Jhora, Sichey. Foods are very nice as like as the owner, Sagar da. All facilities like hot water supply in rooms, serving homely foods, package bookings are provided by them..

The hotel is in an awkward position..has no lift..I was provided a very dark and dingy room..lights were very poor and the bed was too dirty..the owner never bothered to change my room and the worst hotel I ever found in this place...foods were of very poor quality....the worst place I ever found

Manager Subbu is great in arranging all kind of excursions near and far of Gangtok. Food is homely with staff are friendly. Manager Subbu can also arrange for an unforgettable exprience of Night club in Gangtok. So guys must it a highly recommended place.

The rooms were really good and well kept but the location of this hotel is not the best part of the candy. Also the hotel's restuarant has a 50-50 chance of making you happy with meals and their WiFi never works.

I have stayed there on last month for 1 day. Nice hospitality and delicious food. Room services also excellent and the Owner Miss Suvra personally taken care for all Guests, which was very rare. Wish to go in near future.
