Hotel Way Side

The hotel is at Upper Arithang road which has a very steep access with narrow bends. Taxi is a must for moving in and out of the hotels in this area. We were given rooms at 4th floor which were claimed to be their best rooms. Well, we could see the mountains, so cannot complain about the view. Food was nice. The manager is a gentleman with helping attitude. But that's all we could praise about this hotel. Poor maintenance ruined the ambience. Rooms and beds were not clean, and a shabby feeling is evident. Going up and down was not comfortable due to the steep stairs. We also felt overcharged. After two nights we changed to another hotel in Development area which was far better at almost the same price. I can give this hotel an average rating at the most.

We stayed at the 2nd floor rooms. Those are warm, full of sunshine and cozy. Enjoying the view of the mountains, the rooms are perfect for a homely stay. The staff are helpful and wood customise your food. The dining place has a nice view of bamboo plantation outside soothing to the Eye.

Rooms are average, hotel staffs are well mannered & helpful, and foods are fab. Room can be improved thats why 3star otherwise I’ll give 4star
