Amritara Hidden Land, Gangtok

I stayed 3 days in this hotel with my family and i must say it was a truly wonderful experience the property deserve full 5 Star rating for it’s cleanliness we stayed in a Tara Room and it was the highlights of our stay the balcony view of the mountains the room was specious and nicely designed making it perfect for family stay. The staff was extremely polite helpful and always ready with a smile One of the highlights of the property is the lobby absolutely aesthetic, peaceful and filled with books and artistic elements reflecting the rich culture of Sikkim. It had a very calm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a day out and about food every meal was fresh, well-cooked, and full of flavor. Everything from cleanliness, service, ambience, to food was up to the mark. It was a perfect blend of culture, comfort, and hospitality. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area whether with family, friends, or for a peaceful solo getaway. Thank you to the entire Amritara family for making our stay so memorable. ❤️❤️

I recently stayed at a hotel nestled amidst breathtaking natural beauty, and the experience was truly unforgettable. Surrounded by lush greenery, towering trees, and peaceful birdsong, the location offered a refreshing escape from the noise of daily life. The hotel is a cute little place in Gangtok which gives you the homely and cultural vibe of Sikkim. The reception area is beautiful with its aesthetics and you feel a calm after all your travelling once you enter the hotel. The staff is polite and service is extremely good, catering to your needs at anytime you call them. The food has been delicious throughout our stay here for 3 days. Mr. Abhishek has been an amazing host.They specially arranged baby food for our 1 year old infant. Overall it has been an excellent experience at Amritsar Hidden land Gangtok. Keep it up!

The view from the hotel especially from the balcony is undoubtedly a heaven view! A Great Valley view, the view looks really very beautiful and also gives a peaceful vibe. This is the most incredible hotel in Gangtok - wonderful staff, cozy hotel, and incredible views. They always went above and beyond to make our stay magical. Food is good .services are good. We had dinner at Amritara on a stormy, rain-soaked night when the entire neighborhood was plunged into darkness due to a prolonged power outage. Amidst the blackout, Amritara stood out—beautifully lit and bustling with diners seeking refuge and warmth. Though we weren’t staying at the hotel, the staff welcomed us with genuine warmth and exceptional hospitality. The service was prompt, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food was outstanding—the chicken dishes and parathas were incredibly flavorful and simply melted in our mouths. The ambiance was equally impressive. The décor is thoughtfully done, creating a cozy and inviting space, and the café features a charming book section that adds to its unique character. Highly recommend Amritara for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience, whether you’re a guest or just dropping in for a meal.

I recently stayed at this Hotel with family, and I was very impressed. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a great view. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Food here was also excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from local food to continental. Overall Hotel ambience is lovely with the traditional touch and if you're a book lover, you can find lots and lots of books everywhere. I overall had a very positive experience and would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Gangtok.

Decent stay. Rooms are good, opt for Tara rooms. Overall hotel is pretty small. No parking at all. Service is slow. Food is ok. Away from main market- 20 minutes from m g Marg. View from balcony is scenic if you look far. Staff is courteous and helpful
