The Park Residency

First of all, the location is very good near to the local market, the rooms are okay but the washrooms should have been much cleaned, The room charges are economical. The hotel staffs are good, helpful and well behaved. Though they serve only Pure Vegetarian foods but the foods are very tasty. Overall its an average & budget hotel but if you are looking for a luxurious stay then this is not the right place.

The hotel is located very near to mg marg (only you have a climb a few stairs) and opposite to super market. The rooms are okay. Not too good, not too bad. Ours was a bit shabby but we didnot find any issues. The staff are cooperative and helpful. It was more or less a decent stay. They have a pure veg restaurant also if you want to opt for meal plan.

We stayed in a 4 bedded room in basement.Room size is not sufficient for 4 persons.There is no proper place to keep your luggage.There is 2 double beds with little space in between.The person sleeping &facing the wall can not get up without disturbing the other person.||The room & toilet are clean & hot water is available for 24 hrs.The room charge is economical. Their restaurant is ok. Puri bajji & tea is good. Location is about 3 km from Mg marg.If you are senior citizen, then you can not walk as the road is very steep but taxis are available.||The room srvice is good & the owner has helped us to book a taxi to NJP.

Excellent hotel. Thank you Mr.Gupta for the personalized service you provided for us during our stay. I will highly recommend this property to everyone. Restaurant also very good and the location is also good. Just 10 minutes walking distance for the market.

Most importantly, when you book a hotel in Gangtok, you need to be aware that it is a hilly place and the distance which show as 5 minutes walking is actually climbing steep stairs and patches beside other people's houses. They serve only vegetarian (which I failed to realize before making the reservation and my father, an ardent fish lover, didn't like it very much). Service staff are good (There were just two guys). No turn down services are offered. The hotel owner, who also is the manager is a very ignorant man. He even refuses room service. Only consolation was that Sudeet (I am sure I have spelt his name wrong), the waiter, was very warm and friendly. Avoid staying in this hotel.

Neat and clean room and their owner are soo friendly. Rooms are good quality and rent are cheaper than any other hotel on this road. they gave us good service what they said as their commitment. #letsguide

a very basic and budget accommodation with clean rooms and bath. They provide 24 hours running hot water and their location is brilliant. The service is exceptionally good, Mr. Gupta takes hospitality to new heights and is always available to help you plan your trip.

The hotel was quite average and give ahomy feeling not quite luxurious not quite bad, The food provided by the hotel restaurant is also good and taste like a homy food, the food was great and main reason to get that hotel is the neaarest connectivity to MG road the Heart of city of gangtok where you can do purchasing and have fun, all the basic needs and facilities are nearby to hotel, the manager need to be more respectful and helpful by the way overall good hotel and budget hotel,one more mere advice don't book taxi directly from hotels or brokers for local sight seeing and tour,instead book directly from the taxi drivers located at there respective stands for best rates.
