The Ridge Hotel, Gangtok

Nice and clean rooms, stayed 2 nights there, the restaurant server was very helpful, food was good. We have stayed at the top floor with kanchenjunga view 🪟. But no elevator was available. It will be difficult if you are traveling with elderly people.

Myself with my family stayed there from 27th Dec. to 30th Dec.2024.Location is good . Behaviors of staff and manager including owners of the property are very good and helpful. Foods are also fine.But someone Mr.Somenath attached with the hotel,who provides transportation for travelers, is irresponsible and only for him I missed my Bus on return day and lost more than thirteen thousand rupees as he could not provide car on time from Gangtok to Siliguri.The hotel authorities must be more careful about him. In addition to it , I must blame my travel agent Hil Queen Tour and Travels as they,on my return journey,accommodated extra four people in my car though I hired it extensively for my use. Mr Somenath who is local agent of Hil Queen Travel and Hil Queen Travel itself both are equally responsible for spoiling my money and causing great harassment .

I stayed here for 4 nights and 5 days. The place is full of dalaals. Please be careful, as the owner of this hotel Suresh is very corrupt and rude. The staff and manager are very lazy and don't know how to handle customers. I paid 11 thousand, but there was still no improvement.

View was very good , service was average and food was also average but the rooms was not like many may like but I always book a luxury rooms so comparing to that it is ok ok

We are satisfied with the service. Food quality and quantity was more than enough for us. Walking distance from MG Marg to our hotel was just 10 min.We are happy with their guidance and services of Hill Queen Tours and Travels(Ranjit da,Somnath da, Ipshita madam)।

Too bad ..full of Dalal...it's owner n their agents Pandey ji from Siliguri bus stand ..all the Dalal...will shift you to other d grade hotels...just don't visit

At the initial level, staff are learning still there is a scope for better learning and there is a lack of communication but the hotel manager Uttam Kumar is well mannered and manageable person. He understand the customer's of problem and try to fix it as soon as possible. So they are learning and still there is a scope for better performence.
