Hotel Doma Residency (MG Marg)

Hotel is at Very good location in New Market Road. You get down from the local taxi in New Market Road and the hotel is there... Starting point of MG Marg is hardly 150 m away. My room view was very nice (2nd floor) along with the room ( photos attached). Food is fine ( not with heavy spices- it was simple, good) with good services from the staffs. You will get Nathula pass and other taxi service from the hotel itself from their travel service desk.

I had an unsatisfactory experience during my stay at your hotel. The staff behavior was not up to standard—unhelpful and at times unprofessional. Service was poor, and the food quality was disappointing. Additionally, there were issues with the availability of warm water and an insufficient water supply overall, which caused significant inconvenience. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and works on improving these aspects for future guests.

My experience here was disappointing. The hospitality and hygiene were among the worst I’ve encountered. The staff seemed completely unbothered and indifferent to guest needs, which made the stay uncomfortable and frustrating. The bathroom was very dirty, and the overall condition of the room was unsanitary — clearly not maintained with proper cleanliness standards.

Location Is Good. But Hotel Is Absolutely Disgusting. There Was Not a single drop of water in bathroom since 6 - 8 hours. Reception Personals Were Absolutely Rubbish. Bad hospitality. Few hotel staffs and restaurant staffs are good on their behaviour. Absolutely Disgusting Overall. Worst Experience.

It's located on MG Marg itself, an open view from the cafeteria. Staffs are very nice. The rooms are good, but I didn't get the mountains view from my room nor a market view. We were facing a power cut issue for a long time.. Overall all experience was good, the food was very tasty.

Only location is very good bcz of mg marg. Except that nothing is not even average. Room service is too bad. Staff is very lazy and rude. The worst quality and service u can experience here. Even morning tea and water bottle is not recieved. Room cleaning is very rare if u say multiple time then. It's always smell like cigarette. Infact the hotel it's has board for no smoking but then it's staff do that.

The only best part is it in middle of mg road but if u want to come or take ur luggage in and out you have to do it before 8 am after that u have to walk to hotel no cars will come to ur hotel The hotel service like taking out Dustbin everyday is also not done.Rooms are okay okay the kettle doesn’t work for hot water no ac if ur coming in summer but some times u don’t require one

Very prime location to stay in MG Road, Gangtok. The ambience is very pleasant, the complimentary foods including breakfast, lunch , dinner definitely wholesome. You will get cab very easily. Even if you don't come with a package here you can customize. Overall my experience is very good. I'll definitely suggest you to stay
